Tackle Warehouse Issues
I've been using Omina Fishing more recently. Their stock can be hit or miss, but you get fast shipping, and they seem like great peeps. I placed a small order a while back and got this hand-written letter and they threw in a free pack of Flukes and Z-Craws!

Victory Is Near
Does anyone have a list of the models that will be coming out later this year? I could've sworn I saw it posted somewhere.

I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE JIG TRAILER
I always like trying new plastics. I'll give these a shot, but at $8 for a 5 pack, I hope I don't like them so I'm not tempted to buy more. ?

Dobyns Sierra SSM 734C
I have that exact rod, and like others have said, it's a VERY versatile rod. Awesome, awesome rod. I own multiple Expride's, handful of Kistler Helium's/KLX's, Megabass Orochi/Levante's, Poison Adrena, ALX Zolo etc, and this Sierra is still one of my favorite rods. Obviously it isn't as light as some of the others, or as sensitive, but it just feels right and is super fun to fish with. You won't be disappointed.

Anyone fishing the Dobyns Kaden 712SF spinning?
If you're looking for something to match it looks-wise, I doubt you'll beat the Zodias line.

2020 Zodias Spinning Rod Question
Ok, cool. Thanks for the update. I love Exprides. I did order the 7' medium Zodias, but haven't received it yet. If I don't like it I'll just use it for other applications or sell it.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Love seeing all the pics/reading your stories, guys! Keep them coming. Got a few decent bedding fish this weekend. I spotted this smallie as I was working a canal off the river. I was right on top of it when I noticed it and I was only in about 1.5' of water, so figured it'd be spooked, so I backed off a bit. All of a sudden I notice a pike come into view and it kept chasing the pike away from the bed. He/she was fired up. I pitched a Rage Bug in there, and the pike comes flying in and nails it, tearing the claws off. I get the bait back in and quickly pitch back in there and this time the smallie killed it. Like, hit it hard hard and just took off. They REALLY wanted that bait off the bed. I have the pike to thank for getting them so riled up. ? The next day I was on the lake and came across some bedding LM. They were very spooked so I had to back way off to have a shot at them. They wanted nothing to do with the Rage Bug. So I grabbed a Daiwa Yamamoto Neko Fat Worm I had laying in my console and trimmed it down to make a smaller profile, and threw it on a 2/0 hook. That did the trick. I caught 4 of them in a short span. Interesting how big of a difference just changing up your bait can make. To me the Rage Bug looks more threatening and bluegill-like than a worm. Then again maybe they were actually eating and the worm looked like an easier meal.

What is this jig head used for??
Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner. A pike tore the tail off a Dark Sleeper yesterday so I stripped it down to see what it'd look like.

Lots of great options already mentioned. I have a friend who fishes a full Trick Worm on the back of his bladed jigs. It looks ridiculous, but it works, big time.- Need help selecting first NRX+ Rod (843c or 853c?)
NRX is GLoomis, not St. Croix. Also, you ever check out the St. Croix Legend Xtreme? Croix makes some great rods.- Missile Baits now in stock
I would hardly call those 3 baits ripoffs of each other. Especially in todays age where there ARE some baits that look nearly identical. Those 3 do not.- Missile Baits now in stock
Only a matter of time before you overtake Tackle Warehouse as top dog!- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Sorry buddy!- 6th Sense Provoke Jerkbaits
Does the Provoke work? This dinkity dink thinks so. ? Seriously tho, they're a great bait. I still like the 110 a little better tho, but you definitely can't go wrong with any 6th Sense hard bait IMO.- 2020 Zodias Spinning Rod Question
Thanks man. I even searched and still missed that thread. Yikes. Anyways, which one do you think you're going with?- 2020 Zodias Spinning Rod Question
I ordered a 2020 7' medium Zodias (spinning) that I mainly plan to use for weightless Senkos. But I have read a few reviews where people say the new Zodias is a little heavier/stiffer than other models. Meaning a med-light is more like a medium, a medium is more like a MH, etc. Normally I fish my weightless Senkos on a medium, but now I'm questioning if the 7' med-light would have been a better choice. I haven't been able to feel these rods in hand, so I'm hoping some of you have experience with these rods and can shed some light on this for me. Appreciate it!- The, "Line-Shy" debate
You need to find a safer swimming hole, my friend.- Netbait Paca
I'd definitely go with the senior. Also, you can always trim the skirt a bit if it's interfering with the claws.- I keep losing Strike King lures.
Has to be something like a guide, like a few others have said. The fact that it's only happening with RES is just a coincidence. Are you casting other similar-weight lures on that rod as well?- Curado MGL 70 vs. SLX MGL
I just got 2 of the Curado MGLs. An HG and an XG. I'm with you. I like that larger knobs that came on the Curado K's. Not sure why they (and Daiwa recently) decided to go with smaller knobs as of late. I'm assuming those Power Grips fit on the MGLs? Where do you get yours if you don't mind? Ereplacementparts.com has them. Curious if it's a legit site.- Bluegill cranks
Tom, I think you missed my joke. ?- Bluegill cranks
I disagree. I've caught many bass on realistic bluegill-pattern crankbaits. I've never caught an angler.- Whats a "chunk" trailer?
Proof from this morning that they work. - Absolute best all-purpose chatterbait trailer
