Crankbait Customizing
Not sure I can explain the science behind it but I used EWGs on nearly all my crankbaits, mostly lipless and squarebill, with improved results versus the stock round bend hooks. I take the split rings off of my crainkbaits and connect to them with a snap. Never had any negative issues. Still can't neglect the occasional re-tie though.

Braid backing
I tie whatever backing I use to the holes in the spool and have never had slippage problems with any line type. Have to watch the knot or it can cause the line to bunch up or appear to bunch up on one side. Have yet to try out the braid as backing but watched an Aaron Martens video where he talks about it. He suggested using cheap braid, you could probably just use old braid you took off another reel.

Good work, one can never have too many points.

Best Squarebill Crankbait
All things considered the first one I grab is usually a Bomber Square A. Don't hear about them a lot but I like them and they cost half what a lot of the other brands do.

Finally going to try Rage Baits
@fishwizzard - I haven't tried them but I think a Gambler Hollow Point might be what you're looking for with your weightless presentation. There is a cheaper option too called a Carolina Floater.

Finally going to try Rage Baits
I grabbed a pack of the Baby Menace by accident intending to get the full size Menace. I like them a lot. Good for finesse jigs or a smaller profile on swim jigs. Definitely worth a try.

Missile Baits "The 48"
I saw a write up on the 48 somewhere in the last week or so and that was the first I had heard of it. I like the versatility and if they are that durable I'll probably have to give them a shot.

If you had to go no fluoro or braid...
I only use a handful of combos and am too...ummm...frugal to have one using fluoro main line. It's all up to an individuals perception but the times I have used fluoro main line I did notice more feedback than my usual Sufix Siege line. To me whether fluoro is worth the cost comes down to whether or not you are able to utilize it's characteristics to your advantage.

Catching/Trapping Green Sunfish
A bit of a night crawler as mentioned above is probably the fastest way. I catch them all the time on smaller bass lures too like a TRD. They like rocks and will take a shot at pretty much anything that dares to cross their path.

Custom Rods by Ghoti
Very nice work! I like split grip handles but that cork looks killer on the full length handle.

Whopper Plopper rod help
I can't say whether or not the 90 is the worst of the three because it's worked so well for me that I haven't bothered getting a 110 and rarely use the 130 I have. I have used anything from M/F spinning to MH/F casting without any issues.

Whopper Plopper questions
I've mainly used the 90 size and had good luck with loon, white, and ghost minnow. Pretty much everything I've caught is on a slow steady retrieve, just fast enough to get the plopping sound. The lure is plenty effective so the occasional rolling over doesn't bother me. I've found if I keep the rod tip up and get in the right retrieve speed range the rolling over doesn't happen.

Savage 3D Bat ????????????
One if these days I won't be able to resist the sales at Dicks anymore and I'll pick one up. Definitely want to try. What's more fun than testing out new topwater lures?

Favorite Finesse Craw/Creature Bait
BPS Incredible Craw or Rage Baby Menace on a light jig head or Bitsy Bug Jig. Pretty much just use a hop or drag for the Incredible Craw and a hop or swim retrieve with the Baby Menace.

Whopper Plopper what line and rods are you using for the different sizes?
I've used 12-15 lb mono and 15-50 lb braid for my WP 90s. Basically have thrown the 90s on any/all of my medium and med. heavy set ups. My 130 I've thrown using 14-15 lb mono and 50 lb braid. More often with 50 lb braid since I feel like I have better control after a long cast.

Downsides to Ned Rig What are yours
There's no perfect solutions but the ned rig has the fewest downsides of any rig I've tried. I lose more jig heads and TRDs than I do fish. I don't tournament fish so I like the fact that it catches everything that swims.
