  11. I use a 2 foot leader around rock and wood and a 3 to 4foot leader in and around grass.3/4 to 1/2 oz. Bullet weight with a bead and a barrel swivel . I don’t have a problem tying 3 knots because when they get on it I fish it all day and don’t want line problems
  12. I’m frying bass I caught yesterday at Sinclair for supper tonight. So there’s that.
  13. I would go way north of Pelican Pete’s There’s a nice ramp behind Gainesville Methodist Church with close access to Wahoo Creek and the Chattahoochee River. You can go south under the Highway 60 bridge and fish a lot of good points and coves until the traffic runs you back North. Good luck No weekends for me
  14. School is about to let out for Summer and when it does the southern end of Lake Lanier is going to turn into Lake Ociener.Pleasure boats and jet skis galore.I’d advise you to go try the north end and learn it.Largemouth can be caught back up in the River and creeks as well as Spots. The Spots will make you work for the Largemouth but you can catch them once you find them. Fish the red clay points with rock on them all over the lake and every shoal marker you see.Be careful out there this Summer, it gets rough. Also it’s wort trailering up to Laurel Park to launch.Big mega ramp that’s no charge.
  15. I don’t turn mine off until I get back to the trailer
  16. A skunk is not catching any bass to me.
  17. My point being that they ain’t going away
  18. If they show up in your lakes and you catch one, you might as well get used to em’.
  19. Time to get that boat so you can throttle down and high tail it outta there to another area down the lake to catch bass.Same thing with catching dink Spots on our Savannah River lakes, you gotta keep moving to find the bigger fish.
  20. “Them boys ain’t gonna take much to eatn’ bugs”. Woodrow Call
  21. Went to Russell yesterday, I caught 8 Spots and 1 largemouth.my partner caught 3 Spots. The Cicadas were covering the woods like leaves on the trees. Had one hitch a ride on my spinnerbait back to my boat.the carp and gar were cleaning up on them on the surface. The loud singing was nonstop all day long.Never heard anything like that in my life.Sounded like something out of the twilight zone.Just crazy is all
