  10. After you get a couple of layers of line on, drop your rod tip toward the spool. If your line starts twisting up...you're putting it on backwards ... As Ever, skillet

  13. !!DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP!! Have been fishing for bass a long, long, looonnng time :-[(if I told you how long it might defeat the purpose of this post ;D). Have caught a lot of 3-3 1/2s a number of 4s and several that would go 5. This year I caught a 6 and a fish that was 7lb 14oz the first time and 7lb 15oz the second time !   24. Started fishing about 5am trying for topwater bite and just couldn't put it together. Wasn't doing much better with anything until about 9am and caught 7lb 15oz ;D!!! Little later caught 4lb using same bait and rig. T-rigged Brush Hog (grn. pumkin) 1/8oz weight. The planets must have been in alignment for me that morning... As Ever, skillet
  25. Went to BPS yesterday looking for Crucial 6'6" M EF tip. They didn't have that in Crucial but did have it in Compre. If I didn't have my heart set on Crucial, would have bought it! Took my reel to be sure of how it felt. Would definitely get Compre if not willing to wait for Crucial ... As Ever, skillet
