Jigs and deep divers, so much so that I gave all of my deep diving crankbaits and full size jigs to a buddy several years ago. I still have some finesse jigs but rarely use them.

I pretty much stick to conventional wisdom, seasonal patterns and so on. That said, it doesn’t bother me one bit to go against the grain if things aren’t working out.

Not carpet or padding, but when I installed a product similar to Hydroturf on my boat, it had a 3M backing already on it. In the instructions, it said the use 3M 77 spray adhesive on areas with rough surfaces or places with sharp edges. That was two years ago and it’s still like brand new. Hope that this is helpful.

I don’t pay msrp on vehicles, boats etc. Everything else, if I want it and can afford it, I buy it. If I can’t afford it, I’ll save until I can. Only pay with cash, I don’t use credit for anything.

@Swamp Girl, That is some impressive landscaping! When you finish at @Tackleholic house, I live in south Arkansas, gonna need you to work on our place too! As far as our yards suffering, I pay a local guy to mow at both houses. Hopefully we’ll be down to one house soon. 🤞

Most of us have more tackle than we’ll use in our lifetime. If I run out of a certain lure, or lure color, run out of a particular color of soft plastics, I’ll replace it tariff or not. Odds are it won’t happen before this settles back down, I always buy in lots of four or six. It’s not going to be that big a deal.

Scott admitted to the Lake O infraction, dropped out of the Elites prior to the investigation being closed and clearly stating that he probably could not pass the official B.A.S.S. polygraph. There’s nothing else to be gleaned from this unless some bombshell is released. End it before it gets ugly.

I carry the 4” and 6” all the time. I have the magnum size (10”?) but rarely use them. The only colors I use are green pumpkin, june bug and chartreuse. Probably use the 6” green pumpkin 80% of the time.

First day of the BPS Spring Fishing Classic I picked up a 6’9” Carbonlite super finesse technique rod and two Platinum series 2000 size spinning reels. I’m normally a Shimano spinning reel guy, but these Platinum’s (Diawa Fuego, thanks @Eric 26) reels are silky smooth. Looking forward to trying them out.

My mother stopped driving on her own when a school bus pulled out of line and hit her. No one was hurt, only dinged her car a little. She was worried that her reaction time was off. My father has a mini stroke in his mid 80’s. The stroke specialist and our family doctor both said that it was time for him to stop driving and go into an assisted living facility. My mother had passed away by then and they didn’t want him living alone. Any way, both MD’s told my sister and I to let them be the “bad guys” and tell him. They didn’t and it all worked out pretty well. He wasn’t happy about it, but I think he understood. He soon after was diagnosed with dementia which lead to some fairly severe anger issues. Woof, that was a tough time.

I’ve recently purchased the Carbonlite 6’9” super finesse spinning rod. Put a Platinum series 2000 size reel on it. Seems like a really nice setup. Looking forward to using it as soon as I get our new house finished, hopefully this week 🤞. Then I can put the setup to the test.

We’re fixing to move into our new, downsized home in a few weeks. We have quite a few tornadoes in our area of AR. We’re getting a Generac……… and I’m wanting a tornado shelter.

We’ve a pretty good group of folks overall. I think that every state and every team has “those” fans/people that are simply intolerable. For me, I definitely want the Vols to win every game they play in, no matter the sport. I realize that it isn’t realistic and isn’t going to happen . However, if Tennessee can’t win, I want an SEC team to win. Now that I live on the Arkansas/Louisiana border, I do get some strange looks when wearing my Vols swag but everyone has been kind. A few have asked “How in the world did a Vols fan end up down here!” I just tell them that like Texan’s, I will always be a Tennessean and a Vols fan no matter where I live.
