  2. Fish are caught on cane poles and kite string, with no reel at all! Quality equipment just makes fishing more fun and good fisherman better. All of the bigger retailers target $150 - $200 for their upgraded combinations, on sale.   11. Well, I don't think frogs have to be present for frog lures to work, but if you see some, that's a good sign! Otherwise, vegetation to swim through or lay on is always an opportunity to fish a frog. 8-)
