I fish the Anaconda and Thumper on either Gamakatsu 5/0 Round Bend, Owner 5/0 EWG Offset Worm Hooks, XPoints or Moaner 6/0. No issues. These would be my #1 suggestion: http://www.moanerhooks.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=68_65 8-)

Try this: Swarming Hornet/ 3 1/2" LFT Live Magic Shad. Cast and let sink to the bottom. Reel fast, then let sink on slack line. Repeat until you feel you are "out of the zone". DO NOT pump your rod, the blade on the Hornet lifts the bait. Pumping just moves the lure forward. 8-)

Try both P-Line CXX and Yo-Zuri Hybrid to see which you like. Neither costs much, so you really have nothing to lose by testing them both yourself. Compare both brand"s #6 on spinning tackle; #12 on baitcasting. Appply KVD Line & Lure Conditioning while spooling. 8-)
