  1. The 100 is a 10, but I like the 50Mg7 even better! Merry Christmas!
  2. My first fishing "pole" and later, my first shotgun. Merry Christmas!
  3. I'm taking my family and the fiance's family this weekend. I suspect I'll see it a few more times! The movie stays with me and I suspect it will be even more enchanting the second time around. BTW, I agree, the blue chick is hot! Merry Christmas!
  4. 9/11 is the defining moment, but winning the war on terrorism will someday be "The Story". It's interesting to me that we have won in Iraq, but there is so little press. The naysayers were wrong. We continue "to fight the good fight". To all our servicemen and women, SALUTE! Merry Christmas!
  5. Dodgeguy's right, you pay a lot for a little, but I bet you'll like the Loomis! Merry Christmas!
  6. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Send it back, request a refund and try to get reimbursed for your mailing costs. Then, do business somewhere else.

  10. "Light" is way overrated, "balanced" is the key!

  12. A few deletions...I know you guys are just having fun, but you crossed the line. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  13. On a serious note, 9/11 and the global fight against terror. On the fun side, the rebirth of Country Music and living in The South! Merry Christmas
  14. Never considered driving around drunk with a bunch of friends was irresponsible. :-[
  15. We have some Kistler fans that may have some input for you. Otherwise, as many stated on your last thread, the AVC70MF is a good rod at a great price! Merry Christmas!
  16. Welcome aboard! Suggestion? Sure...come fishing with me! It's PRIME TIME on the Tennessee River. Merry Christmas -Kent
  17. That's easy: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/bass-fishing-jjs-magic.html Marinate your soft plastics at home, put them back in their plastic bag and seal it tightly. JJ's is powerful and will last indefinitely.
  18. Avids and Techna AV series are very comparable. I use to recommend the Fenwicks, but they raised their prices from $169 to $219 a few years for no apparent reason. At that time Avids were $140-$160 and a "better value". That price difference continues today. As a result, I own one Fenwick Techna AV AVS70MM. I own four Avids and two St. Croix Legend Elite.
  19. Rick Clunn said: " Catching bass is easy, it's finding them that's hard."
  20. I thought the "New, New Thing" was Recoil Guides introduced by G. Loomis?
  21. Like a lot of guys, I like fishing a variety of techniques. It's mostly about having fun with different gear. However, if my goal (or yours) was simply to "catch more fish", I would fish nothing but soft plastics: 5" Senko and Fat Ika in shallow water, weightless; Mizmo Grande tube and Rage Tail Lobster in deeper water, weighted. Throw a Chug Bug, spinnerbait, jig and an XCalibur in the mix and you have a complete tacklebox! I think Catt has caught all, or at least most, of his double digits on a 7 1/2" Gene Larew Salty Ring Worm. Maybe that is the ONLY bait a guy really needs!
