Best Lew's Reel
If you really want a NIB reel the Tournament Pro G is pretty much the same thing, supposedly a little better I guess. I just said Lews tournament pro over the Pro G because I think you can get a Tournament pro for quite a bit cheaper if you are ok with used but I get that you would want one new.

How good is a Lew’s reel?
Lews is by far my favorite, I wasn’t one to jump on the Daiwa bandwagon because I much prefer my lews reels

Right Handed Reels for Right Handers?
So based off of what I've read it's a plus to not have to switch hands... and there really is no bonus to switching. Is this right?

Right Handed Reels for Right Handers?
It has always confused me when I see people, including pros, switching hands after a cast. I realize its not that big of a deal but why would someone do that? I personally don't switch hands and I started wondering if I was doing it wrong, am I? It seems useless to me to do that but am I missing something? Do I just have a "natural gift" or whatever because this is the only way it feels normal to me and I don't see why people would switch hands.

If you could only have 3 baits for year round bass fishing what would they be??
Are the ponds, lakes, rivers, etc still frozen in Virginia because this is a winter thread, it gets asked each year. But if I had to answer here's the list... Coldwater- Carolina Rig with a hollow body frog (work it very slow) Mid temperatures- An A-rig rigged with buzzbaits Warm Water- Bull Dawg (big lures = big bass???)

Color chart?
Yep, IMO it is impossible to make a completely accurate color chart. So much of colors is guess and check at times.

Line Spooling
So I tried so many different types of mono and floro, then someone mentioned Berkeley big game and I looked up the price and it’s under ten dollars for a large spool of it. That’s pretty much the only stuff I use now. I will say there are a few brands I like better but for the price this stuff is incredible. I like it better than like 90% of line and that has nothing to do with the price. I mainly use 12lb for soft plastics, cranking, and other applications. For the price of this you could get a large spool of line for each reel for cheep and you are set. The price point also allows me to switch out my line every six months, or more if I get a really bad backlash and don’t fell like working on it, which means the line is always in great condition.

Lure swap
Man I'm gonna need to figure out how to make something because going through this thread there's some sweet stuff people make. It's really impressive what you guys can do! Maybe I can learn to make something and join in if you do it again in the future.

Match The Hatch Or Choose Color Based On Water (Crankbait)
Same, when I go to a pressured lake I never start with a Green Pumpkin senko, sexy shad squarebill, or like you said chartreuse spinnerbaits. I love fishing senkos in pressured lakes but I've found I catch a whole lot more on a t-rigged black with blue flake senko with a blue tail than a green pumpkin.

Show off your Stuff
It's clearly a shakespeare reel. The guy bought such an expensive rod that's all he could afford for the reel. JK that is a killer deal you found on that combo!

What is the best cold water lure mid 30s to mid 40s surface temp
x2 for the jerkbait... work it extremely slow, generally you are going to want to slow down big time with any presentation in cold water. With that said you can still throw many types of lures but just work them so slow it is painful.

Sick stick rods and reels?
I personally feel that they are overpriced. A friend of mine bought one and it was heavy and not very good feeling. The grips seemed really cheap and felt like they were going to fall apart the first day, the rod didn't really balance well either. He returned the rod very quickly. I personally feel that there are much better options out there than this rod. Favorite seems to have the Youtube guys sponsoring their products to kids who will see the "googan squad" fishing with this rod and that is automatically the rod they want. Congrats to the youtubers and favorite for being successful but i feel that there are much better rods out there.

Ncaa tournament bracket challenge
Yeah I don’t even know who to go for at this point all the teams I could possibly care about are out. I guess maybe the zags because I feel like they always get out by like a buzzer beater or last minute so I think they deserve a win.
