  1. I like the Zoom ultra vibe speed craw. I have also had good luck with Berkleys crazy legs chigger craw.
  2. Only in my dreams. We are having so much rain and flooding it is not safe to put a boat on the water. If it doesn't quit raining soon the rivers and lakes will come to my house and I can fish off of my front porch.
  3. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  4. I think it looks fantastic the way it is. I wish I had the talent to do that kind of work.
  5. I use a 6'6" spinning rod medium action for both of these techniques. I was using a 6'rod and just recently bought the 6'6" rod.
  6. I am currently using 6'6" spinning rods. I use a medium action for shaky heads, Ned rigs and drop shots. I use a medium heavy for senkos and light weight Texas rigs. I like a rod to have a lot more backbone than a medium light for these.
  7. I use baitcasters most of the time. I do use spinning setups for light weight soft plastics and drop shots. Like many others said use what you are comfortable with. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.
  8. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  9. I hate the part about not using it for arthritis. I was hoping to get a doctor to inject some into my knees to help them feel better.

  11. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  12. You need a rod rated for medium heavy for soft plastics and jigs. I would go with a bait casting setup and use heavier line for these applications.
  13. Screaming Eagle in a spot remover color by War Eagle.
  14. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  15. Good luck to Russ E. Hope they catch them and you get your gun back. More than likely they traded it to get some drugs and go really stupid for a while.
  16. I want to add that when I peg my sinkers I use the little rubber strips that you pull through the sinkers. I rarely use the little sinker pegs you slide on your line in front of the sinker to peg it.
  17. These may be replacing the flat maxx bandit used to have out.
  18. I have always rigged mine the same way you do. A 2/0 hook to me is too big for this grub. I use a 1/0 skip gap hook and peg my weight and have never had the problems you are describing.
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  20. I went today. Fished a lake i'm still learning about as this was only my third time there. I caught absolutely nothing. I couldn't even get a nibble until I switched to a centipede. This is a very pressured lake so I didn't expect to catch a lot anyway.
  21. You are like all of us on here. Chasing the dream of catching the big one.
  22. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  23. I use a main line, a barrel swivel, the use a leader to set up my dropshot. The swivel type hooks. Using some of the hooks Fishingmickey first mentioned would also be good.
  24. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  25. I use 12 pound Sufix Siege. I use the the same rod and reel for crankbaits and suspending jerkbaits.
