  4. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  5. Many years ago I kept hearing about how good lizards were. I finally bought some 6" lizards and went fishing. I caught two that day. Both very near the same size. I didn't measure the first one. I measured the second one. It was 6.5 inches on a 6" lizard.
  6. Hello and welcome to the forum. Hope you continue to improve.

  8. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  9. I use Sufix Siege in 10 pound test for a main line. I add a barrel swivel and then a 2 to 3 foot floro leader. I believe the the swivel helps stops line twist problems.
  10. I use mono on some of my setups. I like Sufix Siege in 12 pound test. Use it for crank baits, spinner baits, and top waters. I use use the 10 pound test for a main line on my spinning rods. I do use floro for soft plastics and jigs. Never have tried braid.

  12. I use my spinning setups for the same stuff you use. I use 10 pound Sufix Siege mono for my main line. I use a barrel swivel and a 2 to 3 foot leader. I also pull the the line out tight to the reel before I start reeling. I also close the bail by hand. Be careful not to over fill your reel when you put line on it. Hope this helps.
  13. I did not do any black Friday shopping either. I also won't order anything online. Some way people have gotten my credit card number twice and the card never left my possession. There is no way I would put my credit card info on a computer. I don't use any more than I have to anyway.
  14. Went overboard on the stuffed buzzard didn't you.
  15. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
  16. Happy Thanksgiving to all. May you not get overloaded on the stuffed buzzard.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  18. I have a 98 175. I blew the original 40HP force motor that came with it. When I went looking for a new motor the dealer said I could go to a 75HP but if I went with a 4 stroke I could only go to a 60HP due to the increased weight. I ended up putting another 40HP on it.
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum. A lot of your stuff can be put in plastic boxes with no problem. Soft plastics I like to leave in the original package. Then put them in a plastic box or even some large zip lock type bags. The fishing line Needs to be checked to be sure it is still good before you put it on a reel.I have not used the Sterilite boxes but they should be okay.
  20. I have never rented any fishing equipment. Like some others posted I am not comfortable using other peoples equipment. I really wouldn't rent a lure. Chance_Taker4 got that one right.
  21. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  22. I believe baits that look weathered and worn work better than the bright shiny ones. I saw a story about one the bass pros trying to get the shine off of his baits to make them work better.

  24. May you have a full recovery.
  25. My strangest crappie catch was a 12" crappie on a 1/2 ounce War Eagle spinner bait.
