  1. I always Texas rig mine On a Gamakatsu 2/0 offset round bend hook with an 1/8 ounce sinker. I very rarely use anything heavier than an 1/8 ounce.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
  6. For LMB I think it will be either a Zoom Ol Monster or a 6th Sense Crush 50X square bill. If I get to fish any where I can catch SMB it will be on a Mepps spinner.
  7. Either a Baby Brush Hog or Z Craw Jr.

  9. I don't use Ned rigs, dropshot, or Carolina rigs any more. Might as well add frogs in there to. I have used them once in many years.
  10. Trying to go maximum HP can be a problem. Many years ago I blew the old outboard on my boat. When I was looking to get a new one I inquired about a 4 stroke. My boat is rated for a 75HP but if I went to a 4 stroke I could only go to a 60HP due to the increased weight. My original motor was a 40HP and that is what I went back with due to the increased cost of going bigger.
  11. When you install a GFCI outlet what is on the wiring after the the GFCI is automatically protected. Sounds like whoever wired @gimruis house ran wiring from the bathroom to feed power to the garage. I don't know about other places but it is code here if you replace a two prong outlet to a three prong you are supposed use a GFCI outlet.

  13. I don't keep a record. My best guess is about 30 trips in 2022. All with the boat. Haven't done any bank fishing in years.

  16. It is about equal for me. The rod is more important. I am not into the super high speed reels so I really look at gear ratio and IPT when checking out reels.
  17. I would go with a two stage. I have owned both single and two stage. I currently have a Cub Cadet two stage. It may be too much for smaller snows but when you get a big snow you will be glad you have it. As already mentioned a heavy wet snow can stop up the chute. I take a broom handle to punch through it and clean it out.

  20. There is already a thread going on this. Supposedly Yamamoto has been bought out by another company. The new packaging is on new baits right now but will be used for all their baits eventually.

  24. I got my BPS catalog today. For what little I buy from them now I'm surprised they keep sending me one.
