trailer tires
I have a 1998 Bass Tracker that I bought in 2000. I replaced the tires when they were around 18 years old. I still have the original spare that has never been used. I know I don't put as many miles on a trailer in a years time as most people do. My boat is stored in the garage and is not taken out in bad weather where salt could affect the tires. Maybe someday I will replace them again.

Looking For right hose for my camping stove
If you have a propane gas company in your area check with them. If they don't have it in stock they may be able to order it for you.

Non-Navigable Waterway Access
The game wardens explained this to a guy fishing a creek that ran through my nephews property. If you are floating you are legal. Once you step out and touch bottom you are standing on someones property.

Some Older Rebel Crankbaits
You are right. The naturalized crappie pattern was almost as good as dynamite for me.

A noob fisherman getting discouraged
I know the feeling. Been the same way around here for me. Hope it gets better next year since I am probably done for this year.

Can anyone Identify This Buzzbait?
Never seen a buzzbait blade like that before.

Anyone else getting the baitmonkey itch?
The bait monkey hasn't been able to overcome where I defeated him and kicked him out. This is why he is working on you so hard.

Work Horse Baitcaster
I agree with @Catt about the Lews Tournament MB/MP reels. The old Shimano Curado 200 Bs were great reels. I still have some of them and some old Shimano Citica Ds that are still as smooth as the day I got them.

Spinnerbait blade configurations
In another thread @papajoe222 talked about using a short arm spinnerbait with a single willow leaf blade. I thought about changing out the blades on one of mine to a willow leaf to try since I have only used them with a Colorado blade. Since this is a small profile bait I was planning to use a size 3 or 3.5 blade. Will these small blades work okay on a swivel or are they better suited for use on the clevis on a 2 bladed spinnerbait?

Some Older Rebel Crankbaits
I have several of the Wee R and Deep Wee R Rebels. I have never seen or even new they made the ones @JbroBass has.

Bait Monkey Defeated.
I am well acquainted with the tool monkey. I just bought a cordless drill and impact driver combo. Of course I had to go back and buy some impact driver bits to go with it.

Lure colors
What puzzles me is this. I have good luck throwing a black/blue jig in murky water and catch fish. I have tried several different black/blue soft plastics and the fish won't even look at them.

Bait Monkey Defeated.
He is certainly starving here too. The only things I plan on buying will be things I have to get, like fishing line, hooks, sinkers. I think I have enough of them to last quite a while. I have seen enough hot baits come along and fade away just as quick that I don't worry about them anymore.

Bigger blades = bigger fish?
What I have seen from him was years before the trickster spinnerbait came out. He also said you were always better off with Colorado blades. Willow leaf blades were made for fishing in grass. Every body has there own opinion and I'm not saying this all right or all wrong. Just stating what I have seen and heard.

One last trip....a cautionary tale.
Glad you made it back okay. Do you think the motor is fixable or will it have to be replaced?

Bigger blades = bigger fish?
I have seen some spinnerbait seminars done by Rick Clunn. He emphasizes that the blades need to be the right size and put out the right amount of flash and vibration for the size of the bait. He says if there is too much or too little it will turn the fish off.

2 shot club
My wife and I both got our booster shots along with flu shots about three weeks ago. I just felt a little more tired for a few hours. We both got the Pfizer vaccine.

I can’t believe I haven’t tried that!
I'm in worse shape. I have two Rock Crawlers in the tackle box and have never used them. I've only had them for about two years. Maybe someday I'll remember to try them.

I love the smell of powerbait in the morning
I don't ever plan on getting out of bed in the mornings and going to sniff my soft plastics or any other bait for that matter.

Bait Monkey Defeated.
Places like Restful Meadows can't do you any good. If you really want to beat the bait monkey you need to try hypnosis. A good hypnotist is the only way to really help you with your problem. Give it a try and see how much it helps you. ?
