Yo Zuri Question
I have seen a lot of posts on here about Yo Zuri Hybrid line and how much people like it. I am thinking about trying it but I have one question. Is this a floating line like mono suitable for top water baits or does it sink like florocarbon?

Manually closing spinning reel bail
When I first started using a spinning reel I was learning on my own. I got so frustrated with line management problems I quit using them for a while. I finally talked to a guy in our local tackle shop about it. He told me to close the bail by hand and use a barrel swivel and short leader. I started doing this and line management problems disappeared.

Seagaur Abrazx
I was using Texas rigs with 1/8 ounce sinkers. Jigs were 3/8 and 1/2 ounce plus the trailer. Maybe close to 3/4 ounce. I did try more than one spool of Abrazx and they were bought at the same place. Maybe they had a bad run of it. We will never know now.

Fanally caught bass on the WACKY RIG
I haven't used the wacky rig much but I never even got a bite when I did. I would much rather throw them on a Texas rig.

Rod socks
I use Rod Glove rod socks. These are the tight mesh weave. So far the top guide has not come through the weave.

Bear Encounters Pt. 2
They had stories on the news the news the last few days about a bear walking through the U.K. college campus here. That is really getting into the downtown area. Bear experts have been called in to try to catch it. Last report it was spotted along the railroad tracks in that area. Hope it hops a ride on a freight train and gets out of town.

Seagaur Abrazx
I haven't used Abrazx for several years. A lot of people like it but it didn't work for me. I used 12# for Texas rigs and jigs and it broke several times on hooksets or broke too easy when getting hung up. I switched to Sunline and the problems stopped. I would use mono before I would go back to Abrazx.

Can you texas rig a swimbait
Most of the time when I use a swim bait it is on a Texas rig with a 1/8 oz. sinker pegged.

Just wanted to thank everyone for this forum
We all go through tough times. Fishing is a great stress reliever at least for me anyway. Hope everything gets better for you.

Fishing plastics, why the long pause
I usually try to set the hook in 2 to 3 seconds after the bite. Some times depending on the mood the fish are in I have to wait several more seconds to make sure they have it. If I am fishing an Ol Monster worm I wait several seconds anyway. I have missed too many fish hitting them too soon on the big baits.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Right now the mid size is only available in 8 colors. I'm sure they will be adding more colors later on. Right now some of the colors I have the best luck with are not available in the mid size.

Trying to post pictures. Got one to come through but the others will not. Bought these at my local tackle shop last week. Some day I will get somebody to give me lessons on resizing and posting pictures.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Stopped by the local tackle shop yesterday. Got two packs of the new mid size Brush Hogs and a RK Crawler in a new pink caddi color. The guy said when they got the RK Crawlers in they sold out in 25 minutes. All but ten of them were already sold in the shipment they got yesterday. Hope to get to try them out tomorrow. I tried to post pics but my computer is not cooperating.

New Upgrade To Old Favorite Worm
I caught 3 on a Zoom U Tail just a few days ago. Had more bites on it than anything else I tried. I do want to try the Magnum U Tail when they are available.

Getting stumped at a new spot
I have to agree with @Fishes in trees. That pond needs to be fished and have a lot of bream taken out of it. It sounds like it is very overcrowded. It may take a few years for it to recover and the bass to grow to a decent size.

Life Jacket
We were not under power at the time I referred to. We were fishing when the brought there boat up by ours. I had my life jacket laying on the deck beside me since I don't wear it when fishing unless it is cold out or the water is cold. Anyway the other fellow pulled out the inflatable and that is when he found out he had to be wearing it. He kept digging around in the storage compartments and finally found a standard life jacket. If he hadn't found it I'm sure he would have been cited. He only had life jackets because they were required. He never wore one.

Life Jacket
If you get checked by the game wardens and you have an inflatable life jacket you have to be wearing it to be legal. It can't be in a storage compartment. A guy I fished with almost learned what could have been a very expensive lesson on this.
