I had posted in another thread about how bad my fishing has been this year. I went again today to a lake I have only fished twice now. Still no luck. Had a few bites but nothing got serious about really taking it. Water temp was 77 when I got there and 81 when I left. Air temp about 85 and mostly sunny skies. Maybe someday things will get better for me.

I loved watching her in the Avengers. Definitely a classy lady.

I hope the best fishing of the year is coming up. So far I am having the worst year I've ever had. If it doesn't get any better I might as well stay home. Temps right now are still in the upper 80s. Should start cooling down some next week. I will probably be a glutton for punishment and try my luck somewhere on the water tomorrow.

Hate to hear this. In this day and age people are so crazy it doesn't surprise me. I know BPS and Cabelas used to have signs up about turning in concealed weapons and pick them up when you left but that only works for honest people.

That is a beautiful dog but it is going to be real upset when it finds out it was taken from a really warm climate and ended up in a frozen waste land in the winter time.

I did like @Choporoz and bought the kit with several different colors from Cabelas several years ago. I have caught a few on them but I still have a lot of them. I fish them the way the info in the kit had and use a Texas rig with a screw in sinker. Like most GYCB baits they are not real durable so they don't last through very many fish.

You have never watched the tv show American Greed have you?

I would think it is just the name of the color. I don't have any in that color to see how they look under a black light.

I am using 10# Sufix Siege on 2500 size spinning reels without any problems. I have not tried Sunline Sniper.
