Anyone else in a slump?
Fishing at night is out for me. I don't have anyone to fish with at night. After having knee replacement surgery on both knees last year and I will be 69 in less than month I don't think being out alone at night is a good option for me.

I Found the Senko!
I just ordered some Green Flash Senkos today. Also ordered some in Cinnamon with black and purple flake and some in Smoke Shad. I can't do any worse with them than anything else I've tried this year.

Anyone else in a slump?
I have been in a slump all year. I am having the worst year I've ever had. Nothing is working for me this year and I don't know why. Been skunked several times this year. Planning to try again Wednesday and hope I can come up with something to turn things around.

Anybody Got Purchase Plans Over Winter?
Okay I will answer. I am like @Derek1. I will restock on a few soft plastics and maybe a few little minor things. Unless I break something before my year is done I won't be spending very much this winter. I am well stocked on most of what I need.

First trailer tire blowout
Glad everything has worked out okay for you. I bought new trailer tires about two years ago. This was in late winter. About two or three weeks later I pulled the boat out of the garage to check everything out on it. I saw one the new tires was very low. Checked it out and found it leaking around the valve stem. Had to take it back where I bought the tires and got it fixed with no problems.

Many Thanks
You will be fine. A year ago at this time I was having knee replacement surgeries. The doctor said there would be no problem. The doctor said he had watched enough Youtube videos to know how to do it. Hope everything goes well for you.

Question about ardent reel kleen/reel maintenance
I bought the Ardent Reel Clean kit with a plastic jar and basket to put your parts in. It has worked very well for me on cleaning the parts. Like @Delaware Valley Tackle said clean, dry, oil on bearings and grease on the gears and assemble. The big bottles of Ardent Reel Clean are getting hard to find. I need to find another cleaner to use in place of it.

Tournament Cheating
I certainly would not call him friend. I would either fish by myself or find someone else to fish with.

Fall Fishing Season Is Upon Us
I went again Wednesday and caught 1 LMB. First one I've caught in my last four fishing trips. Boy did that feel good. I know some places I fish the fishing is not that good to begin with. I have been having bad luck on a lake I know fairly well and usually have some real good days on it. This lake got hit hard with so many people fishing it when everything got shut down. I feel like that is a lot of the problem.

Your first car
65 Chevy Biscayne. It had a 6cylinder manual shift three on the tree. That will have some people scratching their heads wondering what I'm talking about. It was an aqua color. Engine was about worn out when I got it and had to be rebuilt. To say I was rough on it would be an understatement. About three years later I bought a 65 Plymouth Fury. White in color with a 6 cylinder manual shift. I bought it from my aunt after my uncle had passed away. It was a really good car and got good gas mileage. Kept it about two years and traded it for 71 Dodge Challenger. It was gray and had a 318 engine automatic trans.

Waking a grub
The only grubs I use are the Zoom Fat Albert 3" grubs. I rig mine on a 1/0 Gama Skip Gap hook. I have never tried waking them. May have to try it and see what happens.
