What is the best line to use with a top water hard bait?
I use 12#Sufix Siege mono for topwater baits. Setup is a 6' medium rod with a 6:4-1 reel.

Tackle direct
I have ordered from them once several years ago and got what I ordered without any problem. I did unsubscribe from the e-mail list. They seem to be geared more for salt water fishing.

“Highly pressured”
I have never paid more than $6.00 for a launch fee. Most places I fish you put in free. I quit going to one lake when most of the ramps went to $10.00 for a launch fee.

“Highly pressured”
I would hope with things starting to open back up the lakes will become less crowded. I am very thankful I don't have have to put up with the kind of nonsense they have to put up with in California. I would have to quit fishing or move somewhere else before I would put up with that. Now if it will quit raining here and muddying up the water I might get to go fishing again. We are under a flash flood watch until tomorrow night.

Lews MB not reeling smoothly
One thing I see is putting grease in bearings is something not to do. You should only put one or two drops of oil in the bearings. Grease is only for the gears.

Dick's Sale
The one in Hamburg is the one I was in. It looked like I had more fishing stuff than they did. DSG may run some decent online sales but I never think about checking their website since the store prices were so high.

Dick's Sale
We have two DSG stores here. The last time I was in the one closest to me the fishing dept. had very little in it. The prices were so high I wouldn't buy anything. I guess they want everybody to buy from them online. I prefer going to the store to make my purchases when I can.

Experiment
They are probably using @Bluebasser86 since he already in law enforcement. I'm not sure that is any better.

Favorite Top Water Mono Or Co-Poly Line ?
Sufix Siege 12# line for almost everything.

Rod Length
All of the rods I currently use are 6'0" or 6'6". I use the 6'6" rod for soft plastics and jigs. The rest of them are for crankbaits an spinnerbaits. I still have some 5'6" rods and they are great for topwater walk the dog style baits. I have no need and don't want any rods longer than 6'6'.

Awesome Start
Glad you got the win. Maybe you will get some more wins. I have run out of gas once. Unfortunately my wife was with me. We made it in on the trolling motor..

Towing Tin Rigs
I hope yours is 4WD. Slick ramps without 4WD can be a real problem.

Why did I buy a Plano Hydro-Flo box?
I bought one of the 3600 size hydro flow boxes. I use it to put crank baits and spinner baits in that get used so they will dry out before I put them back where they go.I cut part of one of the dividers out to make a place for spinner baits and buzz baits to lay in while drying.

What are these old lures?
My best guess is 1.Top left is a Hellbender. Middle left is an original Bomber. Middle right is a Flatfish. The rest I'm not sure.
