  1. No, no auto-bilge. Canoe is stored in the garage, so out of the rain except when I have on the water. I do have a manual pump that I use at the end of the day if needed, but that's been rare. I just have one more thing to do, then I'll be posting a vid going over everything I've done to it the last three years.
  2. Dobyns Sierra 735C or Kaden 745C would fit the bill.
  3. Thin Lizzy - Dancin in the Moonlight Blue Oyster Cult - Astronomy Within Temptation - Paradise
  4. We're allowed to burn paper, cardboard and scrap wood - nothing else per city ordinance.
  5. I've saved all them off to my hard-drive for perusal in the future.
  6. My FR702 is my general finesse rod, I use a lighter rod for Neds and ultra-finesse. My FR703 is for weightless worms (wacky, T-Rig), shakey-head, flukes and skipping finesse jigs.
  7. Take it back and have them re-spool with 8#. As mentioned earlier, it should be about 1/8" from the lip and evenly laid. This is my Mitchell Avocet RZT-2000 with 8# Sufix Advance Mono - notice the space between the line and the lip
  8. 1: That's under-filled, which will affect casting distance. 2: It doesn't seem to be laid on evenly - I'm seeing a lot of crossover. 3: 10# on that spool might be a bit much...I don't see the reel size, but 8# would probably be better. 10# I wouldn't put on anything smaller than a 3000 size.

  10. I met Al way back in the late 70s when he was helping to host a seminar and mini-tournament on Lake Bemidji when I lived up there. He hasn't lost any of his enthusiasm in all that time. <- Non religious so that first drops off my radar.
  11. Seth Feider doesn't have his own channel, but posts vids, including instructional ones, on other sites. .I love watching his Lake Minnetonka vids cause that's my main hunting grounds.
  12. Yep - you can either copy the link to an online pic and just paste it into the post, or click on the 'choose files' below and post something from your computer...like this.
  13. Ya, I spent almost 30 years in IT...been there-done that.
  14. Ya - couple hours where it wasn't available...I was suffering withdrawal as well.
  15. Wacky rig? Nope. Owner SSW in #2 or 1/0 or Owner Weedless Wacky in #1 are the hooks I use for wacky rigging. They give enough 'space' for the fish to get itself hooked on.
  16. It's an April Fools joke https://majorleaguefishing.com/berkley-maxscent/
  17. Some do have 'heavier' ML rods. My Avocet rod (shore fishing) is labeled ML - but also 6#-12# line, 1/8-5/8 lure. My old Diawa 1312 - again ML - that I keep as a backup rod 6#-12# and 1/4-1/2 lure. So the stats can be different for rods that have the same labeled power. You should be fine with the techniques you stated - I've caught Walleye and even Pike with the 1312 on light jigs, small spoons and inline spinners.
  18. Ya - '-00' is without transducer, '-01' is with They're 'dumping' that one because it's the old GT54 transducer, not the new GT56. The one with the GT56 is part# 010-02519-01
  19. Ya - want to dilute it. My scale modeling - a full-strength Simple Green soak will remove even old enamel paint when I do re-builds.
  20. Speak for yourself, grandpa... I grew up on Moody Blues, ELO, Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy - hated Beatles and Stones...still do.
  21. Simple green is my cleaner of choice for just about everything...including de-greasing reels.
  22. 1,000 lashes with a wet noodle!
  23. Didn't you get the e-mail? It was mainly a 'shoot the breeze' session anyway and I had to duck out a little early.
  24. I forgot to mention this during the chat - but I would have gone and rented a plastic welder to fix that.
  25. At least not while on the water...
