Just can't catch one...
Probably overfishing it. Give the pond a rest It doesn't take very many trips to pressure a small pond

Rage Tail Craw
Watermelon Red Rage Craw is probably one of my go-to's. Very productive bait

Bass Removal from ponds
The bass sound like they have plenty to eat already, you just have an overabundance of small aggresive fish taking food away from larger more lethargic fish. Start removing a few at a time and go from there. Start with smaller fish as well, around 12"

Bass Removal from ponds
Keep all the fish under 1.5lbs and by next year you'll see the size and quality of your fish improve

Was I in the wrong as a Coangler?
So because they own the boat they get first dibs on any water they come across? Nah, you know what your getting into when you enter into a tournament with a co-angler. Get over yourself and quit crying because backseater caught fish

Was I in the wrong as a Coangler?
Your boater was being petty wanting all the fresh water. Tell him to go cry about it

Fishing with craws in a pond that doesn't have craws?
I fish an area where bass will have fiddler crabs sticking out there mouth but catch em on frogs. Fish just plain eat

Learn From My Mistake Part II!
Try not to do that if your gonna release the fish, your risk fatally injuring that fish

Fishing a new-to-me condition
Most everything I fish is muddy usually, more structure the better, dark color jigs, red craw cranks, loud topwater baits. Usually works down south! Good luck, I enjoy fishing new places, figuring them out is fun!

I'm confused...
All this over a 7ft pond...

What should I use to peg sinkers with?
I use bobber stops as well, still use toothpick time to time, I even tie a small mono knot on top of my weight. Works just fine. Whatever stops your weight from sliding

I'm confused...
Fished a big pond today, with depths up to 30-40ft deep with grass on bottom. Extremely clear water. Just wading out launching the boat shallows was extremely hot water, so I figured deep cool water would be the trick. Not my normal but I was determined to figure them out, turned out 1/2ounce drop shot with black trick worm about 2ft up was the solution. My first time dropshotting so 10+ bass was a good trip for me. Largest went close to 4lbs. I think it all depends on the lake/pond/river. Keep trying different tactics till one pays off

Zoom Super Fluke Alternative
My absolute favorite bait, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one fishing them! No matter the brand weightless fluke type bait is hard to beat!

Zoom Super Fluke Alternative
What's the price range on them? I can get a 10pk of zoom flukes for $2.80

Be Smart in the Heat ~
I went the other day, 102* and I had tried pull starting my motor at boat landing fir about 45mins. Thought I was gonna pass out, left river and went to a pond after cooling off some. Heat also affects your attitude, so just don't let it get the best of you. If I had a stick of dynamite in my truck I woulda blown my kicker to the Moon that day. Stay hydrated guys!

Tackle Box Tray Census : ) What do you use ?
With the flambeau's full of soft plastics my lids do warp. Just throwing that out there I keep a box a tray of flukes and rage craws, works great, just some warpage

Zoom Super Fluke Alternative
I like the looks of that Mann's. I've always fish zoom super salty fluke, it's a confidence bait but there is times when a bulkier bait would be better. Thanks for that

Best fishing times + weather ?
Overcast with a mixture of light rain is probably my favorite, other than cool, still fall day. And don't be afraid of wind, I've caught my best fish in windy conditions, bass don't care. I actually caught bass yesterday @3pm in afternoon 100* out and they were in middle of pond schooling. So to me there's no wrong time to fish
