  1. My man, PGA players don’t play with the crap they sell us..they play with blades and lofts under 9...don’t look for short cuts. In the long run, they don’t work. Until your ready to blow some reels up and get skunked dozens of times, question your commitment
  2. Maybe I’m missing out...I’ve never used nothing on anything. I always felt like they’re steroids...I don’t want to be tied to nothing
  3. Wow! ‘Feels like’ temp here has been hotter than your transmission...yeah, ready for fall
  4. Ability to not get discouraged.. Thats about it really
  5. I ain’t bright.. But when 1974 and rubber mallet are used in the same sentence, it ain’t good. Try one from let’s say the 90’s?
  6. Your on the right track. 2 things that helped me: 1. don’t throw so hard 2. stop ‘just’ practicing skipping. Skip while your actually fishing. Blow up a couple reels. Don’t be afraid to fail
  7. ???? I’m dying Trying to picture (unpicture) why one would have to get naked to get a top water plug? Either way, that man will always have a story when beers get opened..
  8. “I have a lake house...” Rest doesn’t matter..you won
  9. Weed.....less
  10. I saw a Camry back down a pontoon boat once...you got it
  11. 2 thoughts: 1. If you don’t fish a lot, it doesn’t matter. Go as cheap as possible. If you fish a lot, you want your stuff to last. Good stuff generally lasts longer 2. How much you have invested in other things. Doesn’t make sense to spend $40k on a bass boat and use a $17 rod...your already in deep, might as well
  12. When all else fails it’s probably something your doing wrong
  13. I know the ingredients for wings and beer.... I continuously decide to consume both anyway..
  14. They usually end up as... ”Florida man ___________” as the headline..gotta love us
  15. Jean shorts, Ray Bans, giant lip of Cope, tuna rod with 80lb mono, 10inch Culprit worm and a beeper..
  16. ????‍♂️ Montana? Ha, try Lake Kissimmee on a Saturday when Bud Light and Marlboro’s are on sale at the Wawa...
  17. I struggled with ‘should I use _____ or _____’ for a while.. Now, VMC straight shanks either 3,4 or 5’s for everything. Except swimbaits of course
  18. “Works flawlessly 25% of the time...” I’d say it’s time for a new one
  19. Yeah I like that..don’t forget the sun (when straight up and bright) can lighten the water up. So what was working in the morning may change by 11am. If your not getting bit, don’t be afraid to change. What’s the worst that can happen? Not getting bit? Your already there, nothing to lose
  20. I’ve seen folks at the ramp catch bass on 80lb mono with metal leaders and 2 oz weights on salami....you’ll be fine with straight braid
  21. Depends on how well they’re schoolin’... Being on the co-angler side a lot, I’ve thrown them on a Paw Patrol rod up to a flippin stick..
  22. Swim jig is that in between windy and slick calm condition for me atleast. ...or when I just can’t stand to throw a worm anymore... Check out Tom Monsoor for real advice
