  1. I can agree with allot of the different points of view here. Here’s another one. At what point does all of us always being the better man and not saying anything and walking away, just enabling rude and ignorant people to continue being rude and ignorant. I believe that itself is a small piece of the problem these days. There’s just no accountability for anyone’s actions anymore. Not sure if I worded this properly, but I think get what I’m saying here.
  2. Should be sweet. Might very well be the next rod I get.
  3. You should definitely take a good look at the Cara finesse jig rod. From reading your posts that rod should be right up your ally, and right in that price point. Throw a currado 150 mgl on it. You’ll be one happy fella.
  4. I’ve been thinking about a finesse setup for a little while just for the fun of it. Nothing crazy lite or anything maybe Ned rigs or meps spinners. You’re posts are certainly helping me along.
  5. I’ve had my eye on that rod. For finess jigs and 1/8 t rigs. With a rage craw or something similar
  6. Maybe just a upgrade of whatever your favorite technic is.
  7. To be honest, up until 4 years ago I thought $100 rods were top of the line. Then I found the latest tackle purchase thread on bass resource. I believe there are great rods at every price point. Jump in where you can and have fun.
  8. Yup jerkbait, popper, light t rig, weightless plastics, finess jig. The list goes on and on.
  9. I have a 6’6” medium fast casting it’s one of my favorite rods. Its 1/4-5/8’s, you can do allot in that range as long as the cover isn’t to heavy. Great setup for one rod to beat the banks with.
  10. It’s 6’-8”. It say it’s a heavy but it’s closer to medium heavy. Really cool rod. Sorry it’s 6’-10”
  11. I have the falcon head turner, but in the expert line up. It’s awesome with any single hook moving bait. Jason christy uses the Cara head turner for spinnerbaits, and he’s the man with a spinnerbait. It’s super sensitive and pretty versatile.
  12. Is the order process the same.
  13. 3/8’s zman in bluegill has been the most consistent for me.
  14. Wishing you the best.
  15. Same, half on half off. And never change.
  16. That’s pretty awesome
  17. That’s hilarious. I feel like I need to show the Swiss army first aid kit I keep in the work truck. It’s really something, complete with the compass that doesn’t work. The kit itself is pretty good though. I’ve found when I don’t have a first aid kit. I never need one. As soon as I get an new one some one ruins it.
  18. Love seeing pics of new gear, and fish on them.
  19. Had mine out for the first time today. Took a little longer to dial in then the k. Having six breaks took a touch more fine tuning. Smooth as a currado should be. All and all I like it. It will probably be the new go to when I need a new reel. Goes well with a 6’8” mh expride for finesse jigs and light t rigs
  20. First time out and First one of the season. Little one but I’ll take it. Finesse jig with a menace for a trailer. Boy it felt good to be out.
  21. Lol, I couldn’t help myself. Didn’t realize I had that many different kinds of rage craws. I think lightning craw and moon juice is gonna be the big winner here. But time will tell.
  22. Black chartreuse with chartreuse pepper Sorry about the doubles, that was allot going on.
  23. Yup I did it lightning craw with moon juice black blue with blue sapphire different black blue with blue swamp water Black red with black neon Green pumpkin black with green pumpkin black Green pumpkin orange with water melon red Green pumpkin purple with tequila sunrise
  24. I have one of each. The two I have are Not really a apples to apples comparison. If you are getting a bottom contact rod I would go cara. You can lcount grains of sand with the 6’11” heavy. My expert is also super sensitive for a mod fast. Both fantastic, you won’t be disappointed either way.
