Dobyns 795sbmt
Cool, thanks for the info guys. I don’t have plans for anything big. I live in mass so we don’t have giant bass, but there are good chances for 7/8 pounds in a few places. Did you order it from sportsman outfitters.

Dobyns 795sbmt
So I ordered one on the 40% off sale. I tried the search and nothing came up. I’m planing on starting out with some glides maybe a slammer and bull Shad if and when I can find them. I haven’t done much research on this just jumped in cause of the sale. Can anyone tell me about it. Should be a decent stick to dabble.

Best overall hard bait company?
I haven’t tried enough of them yet to have a favorite. But I do have to agree about the popmax, no need to even try anything else.

Looking for a producing spinnerbait on the cheap that also produces.
Yup there awesome. Spot remover and blue gill both get it done.
-
Proven baits that don't produce, perhaps.
Yup chatterbaits for me also. Every time I buy a couple of jackhammers I loose them. They never last mor then a couple hours. No bites then snagged, shortly after that I’ll cast the next one off. Unbelievable.

Daiwa Procyon LT.
I don’t know much about either reel. If it was me, I would get the one that if he really gets into it won’t crap out the first season.

Bass Pro Johnny Morris rods
I have three of them now, the carbonlite’s. I really like them. I don’t have much experience with other brands to compare them to though. I have mh/f casting, m/F casting( soon to be my favorite I think) and a m/f spinning. All great rods, if your just starting out and don’t have much gear yet I highly recommend them. I did everything with the mh and the spinning rod for a whole season and didn’t feel wanting. There plenty sensitive and tough at the same time. I take them beating the bank through some fairly rough terrain All the time and don’t have to worry about them.
