I use Flourocarbon or KK Triploymer, but for frogs I use straight braid.

Swim Jigs for Brushpiles?
I have been using the Dirty Jigs Finesse, the local ponds I fish are loaded with debris and these work well. Also they have some heavy duty swim jigs.

Reel Maintenance Mega Thread
The first one I did was pretty scary. I use a silicone mat that I got off Amazon, . I take pictures of each step of disassembly. Bottom line is take your time, cover the reel with hand when removing springs,etc.. Use the right tools and lubricants. Take your time.

how to catch stocked trout
Been very lucky with white power bait this year. I use a #8or10 hook, 18-24" leader, then a small swivel, add worm weight to the main line, then a bead. If current is too much may add a small split shot to the leader. There are other rigs you can use but this is mine for power bait.
