Yes the Savvy series is no longer, I am pretty sure the Sierra series replaced them.

Besides the weight difference between the KastKing Sharky lll 1000 and 2000. What is physical size difference?

I am using the size 0 with swivel on spinner baits, maybe the 1 or 1.5 would be better. The 0 are pretty small.

I have the Sienna 1000 and 2500 not a bad reel for 30 bucks. I also have a KK Sharky lll not a bad reel either but somewhat higher in price range.

Use KVD whenever I re spool a reel. Almost looks like Armor All, not greasy .

I have a Sharky lll 2000, I haven't tested it yet. Seems like a very nice reel. Others on the site have them and say they are very good. Probably will mate it a Dobyns Fury 734C
