  1. I been using KK copolymer and really like it Just my opinion.
  2. I have the same issue at times, Thought it was the line. Maybe it is just me. Hopefully someone will have an answer.
  3. I am using 50# Power Pro on a Dobyns 735C with Speed Demon reel. Can cast a decent distance with this setup. Using hollow bodied frogs and noisy flapper
  4. Yes it does ,
  5. That all brands other than Shimano or Diawa are garbage.
  6. The warranty will depend on whether it is a workmanship issue or a owner issue. Each supplier has their own cost breakdown for this.
  7. I have a Dobyns FR705CB also you may want to look at the KK Speed Demon Pro rods.
  8. It is better then no boat. Congrats
  9. Maybe parents need to start policing what kids watch, Hopefully kids should know right from wrong. If kids think getting in trouble is cool , then they have a real issue. Kids need to go fishing and stop watching stupid you videos.
  10. Replacing guides is not a big deal. The guide placement and wrapping take some practice. Then comes the finish, I used to build all my stand up saltwater rods. Had a special jig to wrap the guides and a motor to turn the rod for applying the epoxy and drying. If you are only doing one rod take to shop to have professionally done , if you plan on doing more then one it is worth the investment. 11. I personally use a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG worm hook. I use all different brands got some red ones on sale. Color doesn't matter to me.
  12. Instead of complaining about them, just stopping watching their videos.
  13. I agree 100 percent
  14. @garyg199 I feel your pain I have tried different lakes, all types of baits, Fishing is about being at the right spot at the right time. I am in Monmouth county and the heat is on and the banks are getting overgrown. My luck has been with T-Rigs so far. I think when the bass are hungry they will hit almost anything.
  15. I have 2 Assassins and 2 Speed Demons. What @Bluebasser86 said they may not be the quietest reels but for the price point IMO are a decent reel. KK does make LH versions also always running sales on Ebay and Amazon. I think whether it is a 50 dollar reel or 200 dollar reel there can be issues with either. At least you have choices. Just remember "it is not whats best, but whats best for you"
  16. In a rod rack , reels on, drags and spool tension backed off. All have rod socks.
  17. The soft bait suppliers just love our OCD about colors, it basically what keeps them laughing all the way to the bank.
  18. I am fishing the Keitech Noisy Flapper, with 5/0 Twistlock Centering Pin Hook, un weighted. Line is 50# braid . On the retrieve the bait has a tendency to flip over. What can I do to overcome this issue?
  19. Well I have the same issue, now I use three different colors, I have a nice collection of colors I don't use.
