  4. Yes they have, Manasquan Reservoir, Howell, NJ. they do not allow any swimming, wading and pets in the water here, Yeah right. I haven't fished here since the first out break now there is a second one. Better safe then sorry.

  13. Did a search on finesse fishing, that is what came up . The internet doesn't lie LOL
  14. Definition of Finesse Finesse presentations are for fish that, for whatever reason (seasonal pattern, lack of forage, etc.), are in the mood to eat. Unlike power fishing where you are trying to excite them into biting a bait, with finesse fishing you are trying to convince them that the bait is actually food.? I am using a Dobyns FR702SF with 10#braid and 8# FC leader. This is my NED setup.
  15. Just like to report back that the KK 10# braid and 8# Segaur FC leader and the Alberto knot worked just fine. Nice casting and was able to feel the NED rig without any problem. Thank you for everyone's input.

  24. The reservoir where I fish has been contaminated with with toxic algae bloom. "A confirmed Harmful Algae Bloom is present with levels quantified at or above the NJ Health Advisory Guidance,” a post on the Manasquan Reservoir Facebook page stated. The post warned people to not drink or make direct contact with untreated water. “Fish caught in this water body should not be eaten,” the post stated. “Pets and livestock should not contact or drink the water.” The algae can cause a skin rash if touched, and if water containing the cyanobacteria — also called blue-green algae — is consumed, it can cause abdominal pain, headaches, vomiting, nausea, blistering around the mouth and flu-like symptoms, according to health officials. Pets can also be harmed by the bacteria.
