Fished this morning from 1am - 830am. Had 2 hits and caught 2 fish. One on a 12" Ol Monster and 1 on a Z - Man SMH worm. Water temp was 87.

I run 20 - 30 lb BG and CXX. BG seems to be a bit more user friendly , while CXX of equal rated poundage seems stronger. The big bait on braid lessons can be expensive.

I've fished 2 SLX MH 7' for over a year now and have had no problems, but I do not boat flip fish. I actually fish 4 SLX rods with no problems. Yes that's a Aldebaran MGL 50 on a SLX rod.

I've got a pretty high tolerance to alcohol and pain meds, but a single 25 mg Benadryl and I'm useless.

You're not alone my Curado 150 DC gets squirrelly just out of the blue. I thought I was doing something wrong, but then I thought, I throw 1/10 Ned rigs to 8 oz swimbaits on BCers with a rare overrun.

Catt I wish you a speedy recovery. I slipped on my wet boat deck last week and apparently hyperextended my right knee. No immediate pain, so I continued fishing ,went home and went to sleep. When I woke up that afternoon I felt like I had a ball of barbed wire inside my knee if I tried to straighten my leg. It's been six days and I can straighten it but when I lift/step it feels like something seems to diconnect/separate but no pain. Gonna give it a few more days before fishing on it.

I've owned the DC and 200K a couple years and both have been reliable but not my light bait gear. Lighter baits I'd suggest looking at a Curado 70 MGL. Never touched a 13 reel.

I came in from fishing the other day beat down from the heat and might of been complaining. So my brillant wife said grab the laser temp guage and see what it reads. The pics is after being in the garage for 30 minutes. I looked up 140 burns and it said 6 yes six seconds of contact can cause 3rd degree burns. Why I'm working my worm in the dark right now.

I've been a Flonase user over 20 years. Every day immediately after stepping out of the shower I take a hit or two. Works for me and a few years ago it went OTC. My sinuses used to go from being completely blocked to dripping like a old spigot before Flonase. Goodluck!

I start with a Buzzbait then a Popper then a small 3/16 or 1/4 oz Spinnerbait then a weightless Super Fluke then a weightless 5" stick worm. Of course Season/water temp determines how fast I start. Ex. I'm not throwing a Buzzbait in a 39 degree pond. I try to never fish slower than the fish are willing to eat. This tactic rarely fails me and I've caught a few decent pond fish from the bank.

SLX/SLX combos are hard to beat.
