  1. When I'm in the mood for fish which is often I'll keep as many 14" and under LM's out of my pond as I feel like cleaning. If fishing my primary public lake which had Spotted Bass illegally introduced, I'll keep every SB I feel like cleaning to try and help slow the damage to the LM population. It would be a very unhealthy route to take to tell this Ga. boy he couldn't keep a legal mess of fish.
  2. 10 lb braid to 6' to 10 ' 6 lb FC
  3. Nice. Congrats.
  4. But them poor ears are gonna get cooked.?
  5. Unfortunately she will not be punished in today's world. A properly applied 4 oz sinker would've changed her attitude.
  6. 6 more. It's gonna be something to behold.
  7. I store my jerkbaits in a hydro flo box. After changing out all those hooks I really didn't want them rusting.
  8. If it's that muddy & crowded I'd fish somewhere else or go after dark with your kayak. Black or black/blue jig with a trailer and scent or a Huddleston 68 Special crawled along the bottom.
  9. I'd choose big swimbaits & frogs for big girls when fishing alone. Super Fluke, Shakey Head, & petite spinnerbait if I want to show out or have a back seater.
  10. I splurge on my buzzbait line. Stren Original 14 lb and catch fish pretty much anywhere a buzzbait can be thrown.
  11. Back at the ramp when ask what & how many I caught, I'll flip my phone out and show fellow fishermen the days catch. When ask what I caught them on, it's always the same answer. A 3/8 ounce Black Rattling Beetle Spin with a small copper willow leaf black. I also will never commit to throwing any one particular bait. What they'll hit and what I want to catch them are seldom the same lure.
  12. Excellent. Thank you for your service. ??
  13. I use a digital meat thermometer for surface temperature when bank fishing/pond hopping.
  14. Nice. Any pics? Engine? Rods storage length?
  15. Any bass worth catching will hit my Megabass Grenades. ?
  16. I too looked into the higher end shorter rods for a bit and picked up the Cherrywood in the mean time. But, it's light, cast light lures great, and handles fish of all sizes wonderfully. I see no need to continue searching.
  17. A $25 Berkley Cherrywood 5'6" Medium works great for small ponds and tight creeks.
  18. Gear ratios and rod length weren't an option when I bought my combos. But I've got Spiderwire. I think.
  19. Fancy. That's alot of bling. Hope you crush them on it.
  20. The water temperature is the #1. Super Fluke weightless except during winter.
