Four season anglers, which season gives you the most trouble?
The dying shad is why the jigging spoon is such a phenomenal bait.

Summer. Here in Georgia with our humidity it's like being in a sauna.

Continue to search for active bass vs slowing down -when?
I always start a little faster than the water temperture might call for. I'll hit 5 or 6 places, throwing multiple different moving baits and then start slowing down until they tell me something. I never want to be dragging a worm/jig, when they'll hit a chatterbait, spinnerbait, or topwater. I fished a tournament years ago and after dragging jigs for hours in the 50 degree water with 4 - 6" visibilty, we won it in the last couple hours throwing black buzzbaits.

Which Rod would you keep…
Per the Bait Monkey handbook those kinds of stress inducing decisions typically means you need a bigger boat with more storage. Bank account? Nobody thinks about their bank account while fishing, if you're doing it right.

Wind Gust
If your rain suit(you will get wet) and bilge pump are in good working order you'll be fine if you have enough TM. I take my 1448 flat bottom out during Small Craft Advisories and catch fish. I just ease around so I don't snap my Solix off. Nothing wrong with changing your mind at the ramp if you're not comfortable with the conditions. Be safe.

Get a prescription of FloMax and take when a stone attacks. It really helps open the pipes and get it out.

Baitcast reel
Back the drag off, hold the spool, turn the handle. Still clicking? It's most likely something on the handle.

A good wife would've watched some videos and got that thing wired and ready for you while you were resting up to fish. She shouldn't have to be ask, just letting her know you picked a TM should've prompted her into action. ?

Yeah. I started producing stones at 17 years old and have had 9 urologist since then. They've poked, prodded, tested, analyzed, and the conclusion is genetics. At some point the doctors have had me give up eating & drinking everything (cola, well water, dairy, salt, protein, vegetables, processed foods, etc.) If I completely ignore the nutritional needs for the rest on my body I could possibly stop the stone building. I hydrate, eat a balanced diet, and just deal with them as they hit. Actually had one doctor tell me a 6 pack of beer daily might help. No problems here Jigfishn10.
