I agree with you on this! He seems to be extremely happy with what he has going on now. Besides his son is really getting into tourney fishing and he can be there for him, I think he will continue to fish the Opens when he wants to. Think it would take something special to get him back into fishing the major tourney scene at this point in his life.

I haven't seen any in stock in my local shop in over a year, and they carry more product than Bass Pro. Could also be because the guys fishing Erie have them all bought up constantly.

Because the stores can't keep them in stock and Berkley can't keep up with demand! So guys are selling baits they have in their possession and collecting a king's ransom on them!

You want to catch panfish grab a container of wax worms and a bobber and small hooks and have a blast! Just pay attention to where you are catching the panfish, because the bass will also be in the area!

You have to watch closely, online tackle sites have some from time to time but they don't last long. Something I didn't understand is all these baits that are already in production and these companies can't keep them on the shelves, but they bring new stuff out at ICast instead of trying to catch up with the demand for already existing baits.

I put one in the deck of my 170 and didn't have any issues. Best thing I did to that boat, so much strain off my back afterwards.

With a spinning rod, yeah I am pretty accurate with my casts. Baitcaster, still a work in progress, have only been fishing baitcasting equipment for a fews years now so still learning. Although if I would fish more I would probably get better at it! Haha

Definitely deep cranking! Spent two days on Chickamauga earlier this summer and cranked 6XD's almost the whole trip. Being from Ohio there isn't a whole lot of deep cranking up this way, wow did those two days kick my butt.

Also by the way you are describing your fishing in the post, you can see the fish? Meaning they can see you, the fish in the creek when the water is clear are very cautious, make longer casts that way you aren't close enough for them to see you.
