  1. Right there with ya and my tote of 5" Senkos! ?
  2. Need all those plastics? ABSOLUTELY!!!!?
  3. Motor oil and Tequila Sunrise. You can have the rest!
  4. I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I love the man! He and his wife do some many great things for kids and getting them involved in fishing, especially the inner city kids that may not have someone to get them into the sport. He may be loud and obnoxious at times but I believe the man has a heart of gold.
  5. So sad to see someone with such a brilliant fishing mind go through this, it has to be frustrating for him! But he isn't a quieter for sure, he will fight till the bitter end for sure! God bless Aaron and his family!
  6. Looks like you are fishing in Ohio, instead of Tennessee! ???
  7. I just wish these companies that can't keep up with their current baits and keep them on the shelves, wouldn't have brought out new stuff that they won't be able to keep on the shelves!
  8. I have a float tube that I use for strip pit ponds here in Ohio, have never used it on a creek or river. The creeks I fish around here are very shallow and easy to wade, plus they are too fast in places for me to kick my fins fast enough to have any control. I wouldn't see why they wouldn't work on a lazy river that doesn't have a ton of fast current though.
  9. Dobyns Colt spinning rod would be in your budget, not a bad rod for the price!
  10. No matter what 4 stroke! Just my opinion but I have a feeling there are a whole lot of others that would agree. Mercury is the only ones I have ever owned and never had an issue with them.
  11. I am with others here! Change your retrieve, with the wacky rig, give it a quick sharp jerk and let it die. Always change speed and action before lure is how I do it. May be the wrong way, but that is my way! haha
  12. My father introduced me to bass fishing! But a buddy and I immersed ourselves in it together and still at it today, 25 years later! Both our fathers were fishermen, but they both would rather catch walleye.
  13. I have always thrown the weecraw since I was a kid, still have some in my wading boxes. Throw hula poppers, jitter bugs, and torpedoes! So yeah I guess I still throw some of the older baits, even though I am maybe considered on the younger side!
  14. I was probably around 35 and the bass was just shy of 7#. Still remember watching the line move to the right and when I set the hook her coming up through the matted grass, and thinking to myself oh my don't screw this up dummy!
  15. Might look into that! thanks for that thought!
  16. Thanks guys! Can't wait to fish out of it for sure, power poles and spot lock gonna make a world of difference for me.
  17. Hopefully they can figure out a way to get materials and get production ramped up! My local tackle store has two Zoom walls and they are really bare!?
  18. Well folks I took the plunge a couple weeks ago and put a deposit down on a brand new bass boat. Figured it was better to do it now while I am still young enough to enjoy it and make the money back that my wife and I are putting into it. Decided on the Phoenix 819 Pro, not supposed to be done for a while but I am sure with my luck I will get it right in time to winterize it! haha. Never seen myself being able to purchase this boat in my lifetime, but have been very blessed and it makes me excited about my future fishing experiences. Built it just the way I wanted it and am planning on making it be the only boat I will ever have to buy, through taking care of it and keeping it going for many years. Gonna be so much better to fish out of compared to the boat I have now, so that is the most exciting part for me.
  19. All you guys a terrible! LMAO ?! Always have to get that monkey going don't ya! LMAO ?
  20. All that stuff will work in moving water! You should be good!
  21. Good luck with that! They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Even if you do get an answer from them in a timely manner, they usually don't know the answer to your question anyways. I would say ask a local boat shop, they would most likely be able to help you!
  22. They were giving it away??
