  1. Yes or no, does it effect your confidence ? I disagree with as many posts that I agree with but remain anonymous. Lol
  2. Doesn't make sense to me, top water should be effective everywhere. Caught my best fish of the year so far on top, 50* water. Are you throwing buzzbaits, ploppers by chance? Lots of bass staple lands on top.
  3. Can't tell you you how amusing this thread has been, WOW, thankyou. Lol It's a haircut but certainly understand normality. Lol When I was younger and someone screwed up my head, I wore a hat. At 60......don't even look in the mirror.
  4. Yep, same here in western VA. We just got 2" of cold rain last night and 80 today and 50* tomorrow. I'm more confused than the Bass.
  5. Hah! Like the additude. 90% of my spinnerbaits has a Colorado upfront and a willow behind but you'll be good in murky water with double Colorado. Slow vibration is key in murky water.....1/4 - 3/8 size. Don't be afraid to throw tight to the bank in murky water......black is where it's at.
  6. Spinnerbaits, black worms, buzzbaits.
  7. That is absolutely terrible news. Lol Hope you find a reasonable solution for future groomings. ?
  8. Got my wife to go catfishing 1 time and while shining a light, a helluva a Hellgrammite landed in her hair......back to perch fishing in daylight.
  9. Congrats young man. Worked with my hands my entire life so a 4.0 to me was a reliable inline engine.
  10. What have you been doing the last 40 years?
  11. Ya' gotta love a game plan. ?
  12. Another......always by hand.
  13. Personally throw a lot of Neds in the gin clear waters I fish, they work but arouse quite a few dinks, I mean quite a few.
  14. No rhyme or reason why but if I as much as tie on a chatterbait, the entire body of water I'm fishing shuts off. I've even tried to be stealth and sneak into a back of a cove and quietly tie one on.......bass know it and run. All other Zman tackle works fantastic.
  15. I remember him, he wasn't that good. Lol I go back to Benard King.
  16. How about in their natural habitat. Wife said " I'm taking off early and frying them up ". Lol
  17. Hunting Morels this morning, hit the jackpot.
  18. Wait a minute ! Doesn't Skip Bayless claim Rodgers the greatest QB of all time ? Rodgers is significantly better than the average QB but kinda reminds me of Drew Brees " really like Brees " who both crumble in big moments.......Biggest difference is Brees was humble.
  19. Wife and I also enjoy dining on catfish......at a restaurant where we can be in bed by 9. Does sound fun though.
  20. I believe it was your PB 11.5# LM bass that will likely never be fooled again and from this day forward, will only hunt at night.
  21. Yes, prayers for his family and friends. Drowning is not age related by any means. As an aging solo fisherman, I do limit the risks and always wear a PFD.
  22. Yes, finesse fishing or at least the term has been quite popular. I don't see you having any problem opening your current tackle box and catching fish.....old proven baits still work.
  23. He's a big kid for sure and think he's a " can't miss NFL caliber QB ". Future looking bright for Florida teams.
  24. Nice catch ? That fish does look bigger than 4.13 lbs. If I'd caught it we'd be calling it 5.13
  25. Gotta admit, that's quite the imagination. Neds do hang quite a bit in submerged cover but surprisingly the 1/16 shroom heads that I use, bend the hood before breaking off.........maybe not snagged to the wiper blade of 73 Gremlin.
