Isn't Terminator spinnerbaits made of titanium ❓ Side note : My biggest Snakehead from the Potomac came on a white bladed jig burning it. Whopper ploppers and frogs caught some as well.

Caught a female full of eggs yesterday with 76* water temps. I don't recall ever seeing that around here but I'm not a bass.

My particular situation requires that I often charge the starting battery when I get home due to fishing electric only lakes. I have a 2 bank onboard charger for the 24v trolling motor batteries and a single bank onboard charger for the starting battery which runs 2 graphs, livewell, bilge and starts the engine. Never an issue on the water.

That's exactly what I believe, it gets bit more in clear water.

Took a 9 yr old boy fishing today. He's never been on a boat and fell in love. We had a great day and even brought the wife a couple of bluegill to eat.

Was watching a video of a well known fisherman using one in the same manner as a buzzbait. Anyone tried this and how would you compare it's effectiveness to a buzzbait or WP. ❓

I'm seeing this as well. Bought a rod last year that I've really grew fond of only to find out it's 30% higher now 😳

@throttleplate Love hearing this. If you have the tools and garage, it saves $ thousands in labor cost over the years. Been doing my own maintenance for 50 years and sometimes it doesn't go as planned. Several years ago bought a 2005 Wrangler TG and serviced everything on the Jeep. Came time to flush the transmission so went to Google to find out where output and return lines were from the radiator / auxiliary cooler were. I have the wife start the vehicle while I'm underneath to flush into a drain pan until the fluid turns a pretty red. Well Google lied and I took a bath in transmission fluid. 😂

If you ever throw a ZinkerZ weightless you'll notice that they will float on the surface after a short period. Several years ago I started throwing all Senkos and knockoffs on a 1/16 wacky head unless I was strictly targeting grass.

@A-Jay I'm not familiar with 115 hp outboard but have owned 40-60-75hp Mercury's and all handled 6K rpms without issues. Do agree though that an undersized engine will work harder.

Several years ago I lost 3 really good fish in a row on a spinnerbait so I changed rods which helped tremendously. BUT the bigger fish have a knack for shaking a hook.

I've never had braid wrap, backlash, trouble tieing an Alberto, wind knots, line getting into a split ring or losing a fish.......in the yard. It's different on a boat. 😁

For the most part I reel them just fast enough to feel vibration. Caught my best fish of 2026 on a deep point letting it hit bottom then start a slow retrieve. For throwing at targets I'm still grabbing a spinnerbait.

I only fish 1 lake with stained water ( spinnerbait - bladed jig ). The rest are very clear so summer baits are as follows " top 5 ". Ned rig Jackall Flickshake Karashi Drop-shot Shakey head I do catch a few on buzzbaits in summer.

@Brycecover I'm in the western part of Shenandoah county. Yes it's been sunny, low humidity and in the low 70's, very nice.

We ended up with 6" of rain over a 9 day period, 9 straight days.

I only fish 1 heavily grassed lake and throw a spinnerbait through the channels and a wacky rig on the front edge....... keeps me entertained.

Sunscreen has worked well for years. I've also been known to dive in when It gets hot, that has also worked well.

The soap trick always worked for swimming goggles but never tried it on my fishing glasses. I do have minor fogging issues but not enough to warrant anything extravagant other than moving the glasses further down the bridge of nose for air circulation. Looking directly into the sun while fishing should help 😁

I fish very clear water and Ned has been my top producer for a couple of years now, Smallmouth and Largemouth. I fish it with an 8# flourocarbon leader and only use 1/16 oz NedlockZ ewg. These are my favorite baits and a couple of Smallmouth I caught a few weeks ago.

Been using 4 strand PowerPro since it's introduction and it's performed well. If I were to switch to an 8 strand for spinning it would be Seaguar Smackdown. Buddy of mine swears by it.
