  1. Always know the lake I'm fishing and pre-rig the evening before.
  2. Wow 😮 Hope 2025 treats you with an epic year of fishing.
  3. How to stay warm in a tree stand 😄. Water temps drop below 50* , I never do well, never have for LM bass.
  4. I'm probably only a ( 3 ) on the hook set scale. I always stay in position with moving baits for a sweep. Techniques like t-rig, wacky it's more of a vertical sweep after reeling up slack. Long gone are the days of " swinging for the fences " . Braid for everything with a short flouro leader on spinning tackle.
  5. I feel bad for Fields as he's played well enough to remain the starter. The Jets defense is their strength " not Rodgers " and now you insert a rusty Russ into the lineup ??? Just last week Fields had 2 rushing TDS. Idk

Nebraska was touted as a much improved program especially after blowing out the Buffalo's. Indiana didn't seem to care and showed little respect. They've been a nice story.
  7. Well since I mainly fish clear water here's a few less common colors that work very well here. (1) As @Munkin mention Yamamoto natural shad - scope minnow (2) Blue steel - Zman finesse shad (3) Cotton candy chartreuse - Zoom lizard.

50 years of fishing and I've only had one bad experience. Was fishing a small cove and catching fish on a Ned rig and 2 young " dudes " with their pants hanging down at the waste exposing colorful boxers shorts shot directly in front of me, like 20 feet, they heard the splash of fighting fish. I'm non confrontational to begin with but definitely not with guys that expose their underwear on purpose. 😳
  9. The addition of Henry is why I think Baltimore is the most dangerous team in the league. Will they get past Mahomes and the KC Chiefs ?......idk
  10. Love seeing and hearing the stories of Giant bass being caught, really do. BUT got so use to the clear water reservoirs here in the mountains of VA / WV that I've learned to target stunted bass. 😅 Plus I have a healthy dose of empathy and hate showing up other fisherman in their state. 😁 Jokes aside, love hearing the stories of the Ole' pioneers of bass fishing like WRB but Cali ain't for me.

    Thanks 👍 Ordered a pack.
  12. Fish were fairly active today. Caught everything on spinnerbaits and flat side crank baits, sexy shad. Overcast, water temp 63*
  13. The point made regarding credit cards are also valid. Example would be, Bass Pro and Amazon who offer points rewards. Wife orders Christmas gifts while I lurk in the background and pay nothing for baits. 😂 Financial discipline is the key in a world of finance.
  14. I've never tried burning a crank but a buzzbait gets on plane and catches fish. 30 degree water, I'm watching a football game.
  15. Any clear body of water. I do MUCH better in gin clear water simply because that's what I'm use to. In VA my favorite lake is Philpott.
  16. What I did was a cowardly move. I married an investor/ financial advisor 😁 I'll show her the original post later this evening.
  17. That was a savage beating.....at Dallas 😳. I realize it's not all Dak's fault but he's not playing like a 60 million dollar man. Lions look legit on both sides of the ball.
  18. As evenly matched as that game was they should simply switch places in the poles.
  19. Perhaps I'm somewhat confused, happens often. I've only had 2-bank chargers that only charge the 2 deep cycle trolling motor batteries, 10 amps. The cranking battery is independently charged at home in the garage regardless of how much I've run the motor. There is quite a bit of demand put on the cranking battery besides cranking the motor.......graphs, live well, running and console lighting, bilge. A long day of fishing my cranking battery is exhausted and I don't rely on the alternator for a full charge. Note: Your 24V trolling motor batteries are not being charged on the water by the alternator.
  20. I fish clear water and target bass with limited eye sight. That's why I throw Ghost minnow and green pumpkin. The better they see the more fake the bait looks. 😅
  21. Snakeheads like White jigs as well.
  22. I throw a Dobyns Sierra significantly more than any of my other spinners. 15# braid 12# flouro leader, Alberto leader knot and never an issue.
  23. Great write-up. Your parents must be proud.
  24. Yes time to run some tests. When I had issues years ago with older boats I'd hookup a 3 gallon auxiliary tank directly to the fuel supply line close to engine. If the engine ran fine then I knew the issue was upstream. Replace filter, hoses , tank pickup and anti- siphon valve. If the engine was still starving for fuel I replaced the fuel pump.
