  1. I always felt like this...if Nirvana was the beach boys of those groups Alice in Chains was Black Sabbath.
  2. Wrong...the word is delicious!
  3. So back in the late 80s to the early/mid 90s Seattle was a hub for the grunge scene. There were a ton of great bands that came out of that era but 4 emerged and pushed to the top. Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains were considered the cream of the crop. My order(remember this is personal preference) goes like this: 1.Alice in Chains 2.Nirvana 3.Soundgarden 4.Pearl Jam What does your lust look like?
  4. We are still on this crazy weather rollercoaster here in NW Iowa.Yesterday it was 77 today 44 and cloudy. By Easter they are saying 82- then next week it lines out in the 60s. Did manage to get out yesterday...caught 3 largies lost 1...biggest was right at 3lbs.
  5. This is how I like my martini: 2-4 ice cubes Several ounces of scotch or bourbon Oh wait that's not a martini
  6. Good for you sir...I too am I going out tomorrow. I worked 75 hours this past week thru an extensive plant shutdown...I need a good old recharge day!
  7. May go tweak some tackle and have a nice pour of connemara.
  8. I caught a bass once that had a half digested snake hanging out of its...well...how do I say this...its hole opposite of its mouth
  9. What model is it? What do you think of it?
  10. Good deal man. I've already been out 4 times in the past few weeks since the ice came off.
  11. Jeez took you long enough! Just kidding good work. Told ya to stick with it!
  12. For me I like a compact bait with good components and good durability. So in that regard my "ideal" bait...at least for now...is a 3/8 Nichols pulsator double willow with metal flake blades.
  13. 3in grub on a ball head Ned rig
  14. And BINGO was his name-o
  15. Precisely. I'd kill for 59 water temp..be smoking em.
  16. Overcast by far. Im a largemouth guy and in my 20 years chasing them I can count all the sunny day big bas (6lbs up) on one hand I think. I caught 4 bass 6+ last year...3 days were overcast. I ain't scared of a little rain either...caught a mid 20s lb bag a few falls ago in light rain on a buzz bait. Had a stretch of 2 5s and a 6 in like ten casts.
  17. My water temps are low 40s yet...I caught a 3lb largemouth on a finesse jig yesterday. Stay at it.
  18. I've got 3 of the original micro guide bucoos and they are excellent rods
  19. Well alot of the lakes and ponds I fish don't have a ton of cover so.that makes it easy. Few trees here and there...maybe a short stretch or two of rip rap. The plus side to that is when there isn't much cover when you do come across some it usually has fish on it.
  20. Nope not at all absolutely...got some decent weather coming soon
  21. It was 62 with a warm south wind here today...and I caught my first nice bass of the year. Spring has arrived.
  22. Mad dog is two steps under boones farm...even worse than thunderbird. Hard pass.
  23. Would love to see Bill Lowen get his first big win. I like his fishing style..shallow combat fishing...very little use of electronics...flipping jigs and swim jigs. Reminds me alot of John Cox style. I've always been a fan of Lowen and his old school grinder mentality.
