As already mentioned, the size of the lakes you fish is a big factor in what type boat will suit your needs. You will notice a substantial difference in an aluminum boat as compared to your glass boat.

Been wearing Costa for years with no complaints. Also like Wylie X. You don’t have to get glass lenses with Costa if you don’t like the weight you can go with the polycarbonate lens.

Watch it every Sunday and have it tape for when I’m not home. I enjoy learning about the local lure vendors they highlight.

For 5k imho you’ll get more boat for your money if you go with aluminum than glass. Either way good luck on your search and let us know how you do. I too would stay away from a boat of that age.

I just looked on line and there’s plenty of different makers that make them for your boat. Just type in boat cover for your boat model. Anywhere from $250 on up. Good luck.

I personally run 4 Birds. And as @Jig Man if you want contour following Humminbird is the one you want. If it doesn’t matter either Bird or Garmin.
