It’s a great fish caught legally. Once we start down the road of he used this or that, where does it stop. Power poles, spot lock, mega live, FFS, artificial scent, live bait, trolling. If the processed used is legal that’s all that should matter. No different than who has the advantage the guy with a bass boat or a kayak or canoe or John boat. They all have there advantages in certain situations. Thanks for sharing RW

I used to fish a small lake near Orlando. It was a mobile home park that had a lake behind it. We asked the manager for permission and she said no problem that we were the first to every ask. The first time there we back my boat down and launched, within the first hour I landed a 9.4 lb. That lake became our personal secret hot spot. My three PB’s came from that lake.

As mentioned above. Mustang vest and jackets are good choices. I use the 100mph survival and the Elite hydrostatic.

For a lot less money than lithium batteries and solar charger you could purchase a super quiet Honda generator 42 decibels that only has a .5 gallon tank that runs between 3 and 6hrs depending on load. Heck one 5 gallon can would do 10 fill ups.

Not crazy. Spinning reel / bait caster whichever one feels right to you. Slow retrieve, fast retrieve let the fish tell you what they want at any given time. Big key is perseverance on your part.
