  1. I think we all lost our minds from having to much to choose from.
  2. Alx zolo skipper is my current favorite perfect ergonomics, great sensitivity, and awesome loading characteristics.
  3. Another vote for SmallmouthCrush, they talk so much about tactics, technique and tackle you inner bait monkey will go bananas.
  4. Zolo skipper for frogs and buzzbaits zolo jerkbait for trebles. I also have 6’6” tatula for smaller stuff.
  5. I use steel leaders with snaps (pike waters) with R bent spinner baits and it slides very rarely on the cast, but when it does it still fixes itself on the retrieve (most often).
  6. My friend has one. Got to fish it few times. Fine rod, but the handle gets hot in the sun and for me, sk reel seat is the deal breaker. Too bad they went with the same reel seat for victory and new LT.
  7. Didn’t Gary sell the business to GSM some time ago? I think he said something like “they will be able to take the company places where he couldn’t” or something like that. So we get bulk senkos haha
  8. I had the 69 corzza. It was alright, but it felt more like L rather Than ML to me. I think tatula will be more universal. I have 7MF tatula and it should do fine with all you listed. I imagine 610 is very similar.
  9. Duo fangbaits dr are pretty beefy, check ebay.
  10. It’s like asking a carpenter to use only one type of saw.
  11. Since last thread about ordering online vs buying in person I have been making a point to visit local tackle stores, both new and some I have not visited in a while. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much have changed for the better. The most standout was Anglers International in Palatine, IL. Very large selection of tackle and gear in both high and low end of price range.
  12. I’m a three rod kind of guy, but from a kayak. The three I take most often are: 6’10” ml fast spinning rod for finesse (ie. Ned) 6’6” m fast casting rod for jerks, shallow cranks and topwater 6’10” mh fast casting for jig, trigs and spinnerbaits But if I’m beating the bank I’ll take only one and which one is a coin toss.
  13. I have the zolo 6’9” m+ jerkbait rod. It is great for anything in 1/2-3/4 range. Great rod overall, but it has fast action.
  14. I have 2018 Outback, bought new, now has just under 60k. Zero problems. Spectacular fishing vehicle. Easy to load a yak, easy to fit a whole lot of fishing gear inside, pretty good mileage.
  15. I should be fishing, but instead I’m browsing fishing forums, while waiting for my 7 month old to finish napping. Life is great!
  16. Yes, but I’m a river rat. I don’t really need electronics on the medium size rivers I fish, current tells me almost everything.
  17. Never used scent, but you all seem to agree about effectiveness of megastrike so I just couldn’t resist and ordered one.
  18. Spook, no, but infuriate.
  19. Depends how deep they are, but I like baits that I can put directly above their faces ie. topwater and suspending jerks.
  20. Rod and reel… …and sunglasses.
  21. USMC 2010-2014 0331 with 1/1 bravo co.
  22. Always have one handy on the water. As stated above, resharpening takes less than a minute regardless of how it was sharpened initially. If the hook hangs vertically of my fingernail it is ready to go. Look up old school Lefty Kreh video on hook sharpening, still valid.
  23. I miss Cabela’s. It was a great store when it was still its own store. Bargain cave was awesome.
