I slob on sunscreen on my face and still wear the face covering. Not all face coverings are protctive and the ones that are i wouldnt trust the longgivity of such. I buy the $9.00 coverings at wallmart only because they fit perfect unlike the more expensive 2 layered ones ive tried. So being a cheap covering i slob on sunscreen on my face and during the day when taking a break i pull the mask down and am exposed to the sun so the sunscreen helps during those times.

my wfe picks out her own lures and senko worm colors when at the tackle shop. She does this at times when wearing a spring-summer dress. When i am not standing next to her some guys are surprised and ask her if she fishes and what her biggest fish was. When the snowblower isnt needed my wife shovels the snow while i wash and dry the dishes. Works for me.

when i go wading and get out of the water and head to another lake i keep my waders on. The heavy boot soles have deep cut patterns in them for great traction. When i finally take them off for the day i have rocks and shells packed in the soles. How many waders have been caught transferring mussels in their soles.

Fish the majority of the time on the ottertail river around the many dams and keep away from the lakes during the summer. The river lets me concentrate on smallmouth and walleye as i am burnt out on catching largemouth.

I had a speedboat and joined the Penn Warner Club in Morrisville so i could fish and water ski. Its a man made lake owned by waste management and as you may know its right across from the huge waste management dump. I kept my boat moored in the bay and instead of using the clubs dingy to get to it i would just swim out to it. I always had to clean chicken bones off the deck because of the dump the seagulls would pick up scraps of human food, usually chicken and fly over and sit on my enclosed bow and eat. Some days the place would really smell bad depending on wind direction from the dump.

i lived at 48 appletree drive. When i got out of the service in 1985 i went home to north dakota, spent a week there and moved to Hopkins minn and stayed at my sisters house. The first week there in february we had a huge blizzard and the phone rang, no cell phones yet. It was my military friend from levittown telling me how he was just out riding his motorcycle. I packed all my clothes into my seabag and threw it and 2 cruise boxes into the trunk of my 1966 ford galaxie 500 and drove nonstop to levittown. Took me 26 hours.

My palomar for fluoro and braid. Main line on bottom, the tag end on top and never crossed. The first overhand knot loop is never cinched down at this point, the size of this loop is from 1/4 to 1/2 in. The loop i bring the lure through is pinched in my left fingers and pulled away from the lure and pulls on the still open overhand knot loop but not cinching it. I keep pulling with a good steady pull to the point the pinched finger loop rolls over the overhand loop knot. Keep enough tension on it to where i can unpinch the loop and the loop stays in place laying over to the left. Then i put the knot in my mouth and roll my tongue over it, inside it. Stop your dirty thoughts now guys. Then i pull the main line which cinches down the layed over loop untill it gets close to the over hand loop knot say 1/16in. Then i pull both main and tag lines to cinch it up. Still i am not done, i then pull the tag line alone with a good tug and then the mainline a good tug. The knot is completed. If i am at home tying snelled lures and swivels i will pick up a magnifying glass and take a look at the knots.
