I am a card carrying member of the bucket brigade. Sometimes the dock is the hottest spot on the lake for crappie or walleye. When that’s the case I leave the boat at home. If I’m after bass, then I’m dragging Piece of Crap ( my boat’s name ) every time. There’s not access to most of the lake on foot.

My son is good. They opened the highway and he made it home last night. His friend’s house caught fire though and we’re going to see what we can do to help out. I hope the same for you and yours. Those fires popped up so fast in so many places , it was crazy.

We’ve got some bad fires going right now . I heard on the radio to evacuate, then they came back on and said the roads are all closed and to hunker in place. I’m a little worried about my family members that are right in the path of this thing.

That was a very good video. We had a local deer hunter drown while trying to cross the lake in the wind not too long ago. Gotta know our and our vessels limitations.
