I put one on a couple years ago, used the 3m VHB it came with, no issues. FWIW, I do not put many miles on the motor, although it’s all in the weeds. If folks are having issues with the blade falling off they made have made installation mistakes.

15 lbs? I wouldn’t want to be pulling that up either. The one I use most often is 3.5, if it’s breezy I bring along a 7 instead, occasionally both, not that I’d want to take a walk thru the woods with either. If the 2 anchors don’t hold it’s time to head home.

I’m stationary more often than not, when the wind pushes the canoe faster than I care to cover an area over goes one of the anchors. I can spend a whole morning and cover maybe 100 yds x 100 yds. If I want to swap sides on a body of water and the wind is right, than I’ll let it drift.

I fished a Shimano trigger reel for a few years many moons ago, I liked it and had no issues with it. It’s possible I still have it somewhere.

I was paying $50 a week for an acre, sporadic service got me doing it again. $50 included hauling away the clippings as necessary and trimming. This was a crew of 2 or 3 and took about 30 min. This was 2 years ago.

I got rid of the tether for the pliers, they are always wrapped around something when I need them. I do however use one on my nippers, those would get misplaced being so small. One of the trade offs working in tight quarters.

If close enough works then the Boga Grip is about as easy as it gets, but you’re not getting digital accuracy.

After dropping a good set of pliers overboard I’ve been using tackle warehouse aluminum 71/2”, no problems encountered other the the cutters don’t last, neither did the ones on the expensive pliers. I’ve been using an Ego net for a long time. Had to replace the net maybe 5 years ago as the rubber doesn’t last forever, easy job. It gets a bit small around 5 lbs but still does the job.

I take care of it to the level of any other tool I own, including my wooden canoe. I keep everything working as well as I can but don’t mind a scuff or scratch as long as it’s just cosmetic.

I don’t, never heard of such. I just drain the tank and run it dry, that’s it till Nov. Others go the stabil route, owners choice.

Yes, air pressure matters. Last time I had one tire low I could tell, I think it wasn’t skimming the surface evenly, it was a long time ago. I’m talking low enough that I could squish the tire with foot pressure. I do yearly maintenance in Nov, tires are part of it.

This is my biggest hassle. Our dog is only about a foot high, maybe 4” legs, we gotta shovel every time she needs to go out.

Had 8-12 left before last night that’s been here for at least a month, add a couple inches of slush covered ice over night and another 7 or so tomorrow night. 2 hrs to clear the driveway and paths this am, my rt shoulder is shot. A medium won’t toss real small lures as well as a lighter rod, which is why I use an M/L, at least that’s my experience. If I were using 1/16 baits I’d be using my L, but I don’t river fish. Best I could recommend is to buy or borrow a M and see what you think.

I’ve had 2 break, both M/L, one from abuse, the other during a cast. The first was an old rod I dropped the anchor on, STC replaced it under warranty. The 2nd was the first’s replacement, maybe 2 years old. My take is like most things, the new is not as good as the old. I passed on another and went with a Dobyn’s Fury. I much prefer the Premier.

Ya, 3 on 3 is a bit strange but it’s better then deciding by shootout, which comes after the 3 on 3.

I have a more spinning rods then reels, they all have a purpose, other then just being extras, I might swap a reel 2 or 3 times a year. If I buy another reel or 2 there will no longer be a need. I have 2 BC rods and reels, no need to swap.

Saltwater, from shore, not exactly a bank. Freshwater, boat. Very limited access for bank fishing ponds or lakes around here. If it’s not someone’s yard it’s covered in rhododendrons or some such scrub.

Noticed a Carolina Wren at the suet feeder a couple days ago. I hadn’t thought of it but we have a fox that prowls around the yard at night, might help with mice if we have/had any.
