  1. doesn’t exactly go on the wall but this is my first fish carving, other the the driftwood branch.
  2. I get it now. The Pats planted a rumor about the Seahawks being for sale to get them distracted for the game. Or the Seahawks put out a fake for sale rumor so they could point the finger at it being a Pats plot, that way they smear the Pats and get them distracted. Or it could be the Seahawks really will be for sale, after the game if they win, when their value will be at a premium.
  3. When I first started bass fishing, 25 years or so ago, I keep the first over 1 lb, then the first over 2 and ate them. For me it’s not worth the effort for the amount of fish one gets. I buy the fish I eat.
  4. Wahoo
  5. Just to be technical and a nerd, while a Seahawks is an osprey, the Seahawk’s mascot they turn lose is an Auger, as in the image, something to do with the US wildlife laws. I’m pulling for the bird guys, in that game.
  6. The skin on the raiders is very thin, I used Hillman well nuts (cheap versions are more like hard plastic and don’t work) in the hull and then SS screws to attach any hardware. For items like rod holders that may get some torque on them I also used 3m 5200 sealant. I used cleats for the anchor as opposed to the Scotty.
  7. Bummer, I was looking forward to a Denver/Seattle Super Bowl. Congrats to you Seahawk fans. I had to look it up to see if a Seahawk really exists.
  8. lower left, above the Contact Us.
  9. Me too, only 10ish weeks to go.
  10. Works ok on an iPad if I make the font big enough for it to show up.
  11. No, never have. I do look for the best product that will do what I want it to for the best price. I use Stradic’s, SLX’s, and St Croix Premier’s
  12. Seems the only things the 4 yo grandson eats when he comes over is spaghetti or Mac & cheese. From what I can remember from some of the others is hotdogs and pizza. When they are grandkids you can get away with giving them whatever they want.
  13. I agree, the O line was my issue.
  14. Thanks, I’ll try to remember come ice out. Changed it to 4lb. It’s on order so no going back now.
  15. The 2000s says 100 yds 4 lb mono The 1000 says 140of the same. FWIW, I just measured the 1000 capacity using 10lb 832 to what I consider full, 240’. The 2000s only took 140’. Both are Stradics although a few generations apart.
  16. Pat’s won, but I certainly was not impressed. Hope they get it together before next weekend.
  17. I don’t do social media other than view an occasional instructional video. I’m good with just reading a couple forums like this one. I do however like smart tv’s, and my smart watch. Bought a new car, it has way more tech then I care to understand, can’t imagine what it’ll be like getting another new one in 10 years when I’m 80, going to have to hire a pilot.
  18. Thanks all for the help, ordering some 6 lb Yo-Zuri copolymer for the 1000 with the regular spool, and 6 lb Sufix Revolve for the shallow 2000.
  19. Thanks that’s what it is/was, I had it too zoomed in to see the missing info. Unfortunately if I make it small enough to see them everything else is too small. Just the ads take up 1/3 of the screen scrunching up the text. I’ll have to break out the laptop and see if it’s more usable, an iPad might just be too small for use here.
  20. if I’m supposed to see what BigAngus shows in this image, I don’t. In the upper right I have the little profile image but that’s it. Yes, I’ve cleared cache, twice.
  21. For text size, click on the thing that looks like a tv with 2 bars under it on the address bar at the top of the page, click on the bigger A to increase size. FWIW, my notifications and messages work on the iPad, I did clear cache yesterday but hadn’t noticed if they did not work before that.
  22. Thanks, I was just reading about Revolve in a year old thread.
  23. I’d like to do some yellow perch fishing this coming year using anything from live bait to small spinners and beetle spins. I have 2 setups, a lightweight with a 1000, and a med light, although the specs say it matches the lightweight, with a 2000S (shallow). Looking for line suggestions, I currently have 10 lb 832 on the 1000 that seems to work pretty well, the 2000 is new and empty. I have very little experience with these small setups, when I tried floro on the 1000 some years back it was hard to keep on the spool, I think it was 4 lb, so I went to the braid. I’d like to keep the lines as light as possible without having problems. Around here panfish are well under 1 lb.
  24. Did we lose the option mark all read at the bottom of the page? I can only find it at the top in my Account options. And yes, I have cleared cache and rebooted my iPad.
  25. Easy choice for me, the Mepps Aglia, made since 38.
