  1. These are real nice, lightweight, sensitive rods that are right in your price range. I have several of their rods, but none of mine are telescopic, but they are all sweet rods. http://www.imaginationbassin.com/cranking__flipping__swim_bait.htm

  3. There are already lures called "Bass Kandy" and "Big Bass Candy".
  4. Taking you for an X-Men fan. Actually, I was thinking about the aurora borealis. I thought it went well with a company name like Northstar.
  5. That thread was about finesse rods. He's asking about finesse baits.

  10. "Introducing the steerable lure, the Think Tank Lures Triggerfish features Think Tank's revolutionary Z-Trieve steering technology that allows you to fish in ways and places you never thought possible. Go under that tree - into that cove - weave through those pads - the Think Tank Lures Triggerfish responds to your every command, giving you limitless possibilities with every cast." Tackle Warehouse It reminds me of one of those lures that outfishes live bait three to one and may be banned from tournaments in certain states. Is NGC sports selling this thing?
  11. I drop shot in water up to about 40' deep, and I don't think I've ever used a sinker heavier than 3/8 oz. If the water is deeper than 40', I find somewhere else to fish. I use a variety of different hooks depending on what bait I'm using, but I do not recommend StandOut drop shot hooks.
  12. I can, but it wouldn't be appropriate for this site.
  13. Yep. That's how I always did it with pork trailers, and that's how I do it with plastic.

  15. Are you talking about the Tru Tungsten Ikey Heads? I love those things. I've been using them for years, and I've never had one break. I tried Spot Removers three or four years ago, and they seemed like good shakey heads, but all of their hooks were dull. I don't like having to sharpen hooks right out of the package, so I've never bought any since.
  16. I don't understand why anyone would not use a kill switch.
  17. If you don't want your wife to find it, don't bring it home. Duh! Keep it at your girlfriend's house.
  18. I've bought one pack of senkos ever, and I caught exactly one fish on them.
  19. I think Jim Morrison put it best when he said "the west is the best." ;D
  20. ...to tell someone their breath stinks without hurting their feelings?
  21. 998 > 997 I really have no idea. I'm a Lowrance guy.
  22. It won't effect me much. I'm not married, so I'm able to allocate a good chunk of my budget to fishing. I'm running a 115 Optimax, so I don't burn too awfully much gas while fishing.
  23. Can anyone tell me where I can get ahold of a decent map of East Lynn Lake? I have a club tournament there, and I've never been there before. I can't seem to find a map of the lake anywhere. I'm also looking for a map of Grayson Lake, KY.
