  1. Exactly!!!! That's why it makes me sick to hear so many people screaming for a college football playoff. Playoffs would ruin everything that college football fans love about the sport.
  2. Michigan was very much relevant as recently as the 2006 season. They would have played in the BCS championship game if they had beated Ohio State. Of course, they lost that game and their bowl game, and they started off the 2007 season with an embarrassing home loss to Appalachian State. Hiring Rich Rod didn't help matters much, but University of Michigan football will recover. You're right about LSU. They're almost always a threat to win it all. They should have a good shot at it this year, if they make it through a tough SEC West schedule. Their trip to Morgantown should be a good early season test for them. Your beloved SEC has been known to have some overpaid college kids as well!
  3. I was thinking the same thing!
  4. I'm still trying to understand the purpose of a weightless Carolina rig.

  6. Mods, can we go ahead and ban this guy? Honestly, I don't get the fascination with NFL football, but I'm an absolute college football junkie.
  7. Hookingem, I'm glad to see those swimbaits are working out for you.
  8. I'd gas up my boat and actually have a full tank for once.
  9. I resize mine on Photobucket.com
  10. Check these out: http://www.kistlerrods.com/c/fishing-rod/Micro-CarbonSteel-Fishing-Rods/ They're advertised as being virtually indestructable. I bought one earlier this year because I wanted to try out the microguides without spending a fortune. It's probably the cheapest rod in my arsenal, and it's becoming one of my favorites. The handles in the pictures are from last year's models. The 2011 rods have split grips.
  11. I'm a strong advocate of catch and release dating.
  12. I've never understood how someone could spend $40,000 on a boat, buy a dozen $400 rod and reel combos, and then complain that $15 is too much for a bait. I wouldn't want to buy a hundred $15 baits at once, but do you really need that many? I think a lot of fishermen are conviced that they need a large variety of baits when they could get by with a much smaller selection. My boat is stuffed with hundreds of lures, but I may actually use 25% of them. My point is that while you may be able to buy three or four lower priced lures for the price of one expensive lure, you probably don't need them. Buy what you can afford, have confidence in what you use, but don't ever trade quality for quantity.
  13. Okay, true story here. I was at the National Training Center in California a few years back, and my feet became extremely chapped due to constant sweating and drying. The bottom of my feet and in between my toes was cracking and bleeding, so I asked my platoon medic for help. He handed me a tube of Preparation H, and he told me to put it on my feet. At first, I thought he was nuts, but I was desperate, so I gave it a try. My feet were almost completely healed overnight.
  14. For it's intended use, Preparation H must work better than Preparations A-G. How would you like to have been the guinea pig when they were testing that stuff?
  15. These are what I use.
  16. What are your plans for the weightless one?
  17. I think it has something to do with the +1 and -1. I'm giving you +1 because I've been wondering the same thing.
  18. I don't think you can give them negative feedback on the good seller/trader list.
  19. I've been avoiding buying Tatsu because I'm afraid I'll like it.
  20. I've noticed it a few times, but I can't remember if it was his posts or not. Edit: I went back and looked. His posts definately do it.
  21. Talk to bigbassctchr101
  22. I had the same problem.
  23. That's what came with my boat. I moved it from the console to the front, and I haven't had any reason to complain. $40 is a good price.
