  1. Thanks for showing me the revant site! Need some new lenses for my costas!
  2. Ouch! Here’s to a speedy recovery.
  3. So I’ve heard 😂😂 Huntsville Chattanooga
  4. KTP today. Usual exceptions (though MB is still not an “exception”)
  5. I live in HSV and wife travels to CHT for work weekly. She is a Pilates instructor. This morning she taught someone’s wife and asked if I knew this member. His YouTube channel is Ben Green Fishing Family. Just wanted to say hi and set up a fishing excursion…
  6. Thanks. I’m the one that started the discussion. I bought 35 in my local BPS. The price was all over the place though. It didn’t have anything to do with tarrif pricing though. At my local BPS in Huntsville, they were (and still are) $5.99. In Chattanooga, they were $4.99. In Prattville, AL (Montgomery area), they were $5.99. In Leeds, AL (Birmingham area), they were $6.99. I asked different store managers why the different prices and they replied that they didn’t know. I asked about tariffs specifically and they all said no, that these were repackaged lures with the new BPS packaging. I had several at my BPS price matched to the price at Chattanooga.
  7. Since I don’t have a boat, all my plastic storage is at home. I have 2 speed bags that I stuff when I go fish. I store all my plastics in 16qt containers from Target. Only $6 normally, but are on sale for 20% regularly.
  8. Please send link. I’m assuming Fishmas 2025 is coming up soon.
  9. My GSD has taken Rimadyl a couple times through the years. She is 13 and has a bad hip. Last vet showed “just” arthritis, and no dysplasia which in GSD is a godsend. That said, my grandmother took Rimadyl (carprofen) for years for rheumatoid arthritis. I remember when she first started it. Now, it’s only for use in dogs.
  10. The little guy always bears the brunt of it. What some people don’t understand is that China, Japan, India, Switzerland, Niger, whatever country it is that we are talking about DOES NOT pay the tariffs. The consumer pays them.
  11. What lire was it? That doesn’t sound right.
  12. Honestly I didn’t think I’d use mine much and got it because my company paid for it. It turned out to be invaluable…
  13. I love tariffs (said no one ever). Let me edit to add: I have an MBA with a concentration in economics. I spent my career in the supply chain field. Tariffs are not, in nature, a bad thing when applied properly and to a specific commodity. A countrywide tarrif is just stupid (IMO). Not trying to get political at all, and if it reads that way, please feel free to moderate that.
  14. OP - by “knock off the backside” and I’m referring to removing the burr if you’re thinking about knife sharpening (for example). On a hook, I just flip it over and run it on the file once or twice. Very rudimentary pic, but hopefully it explains what I’m trying to say… They do. I’ve been fishing them for a year or so now and they are as sharp as when I bought them. BKK is a Chinese company. Their hooks are designed in Japan. A quick google search shows they’ve been in business since 1856. They probably know what they’re doing by now…
  15. Yeah, you use android. Somehow Steve Jobs didn’t think that was necessary…
  16. Alternatively, you can use an app for resizing. I use compress.
  17. I’d probably look at at least re-tying? 😂😂
  18. He also said it adds a little support/stability in that area since the bulkhead is really short there.
  19. Gimmie a few. I’ll ask Chad at KBF… Called a locking bar. It’s for running a security cable through, or any other tie down straps for securing cargo.
  20. When I grow up, I wanna be @A-Jay
  21. “I can see clearly now, the bandages are gone. I can see all the smallies that are in my swamp.”
  22. Check out Phoenix rods as well. Same discount. Actually same discount on anything GSM Outdoors. DM me if you want more info.
  23. I’ve been really impressed lately with my BKK hooks. I’m a woodworker by hobby as well and like sharp tools. Sharp is the convergence of two planes meeting. Make sure to “knock off the backside” when sharpening a hook too.
