  1. Netbait paca chunk Xzone stealth finesse craw Berkley chigger bug Rage scounbug
  2. Happy 4th of July bass!
  3. 3 after work Karashi dinks in about the worst possible conditions, slack low tide and 100+ air temps. Had 4 others miss or pop off the hook.
  4. I use the zillion version of the BC2 for weightless T rigs, no issues casting something like a bronco bug on a 4/0 superline ewg.
  5. Amazon tungsten either Nako/Munn/Reaction tackle whatever is cheapest.
  6. Factory replacement for the rear tinsel treble is now available. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Megabass_Tinsel_Treble_Hook_10_2pk/descpage-KARTH.html
  7. Pretty sure this is in store only but Dicks is blowing out Tatula CTs 40% off.
  8. Finally tied on a Karashi, 2nd cast solid fish.
  9. Came back with the frog rod and ripped that hanging popper down
  10. https://thehookuptackle.com/products/megabass-x-tactical-bassin-collab-color-drop?variant=46849317732519 Showing up at other retailers now
  11. Popped down to the river at negative tide mostly just to see what I could see Looks like a popper, unfortunately I didn't have anything with strong enough line to snag and recover. Found a nasty old trap in the rocks, still had stumps of hooks until I picked it up and they disintegrated. Swimbait dink Mid size wacky senko fishy a solid fish for this spot, dogged me on BFS trying to get into the grass. I had to thumb the spool and put faith in 6lb tatsu to pull him out.
  12. I've never fished an nrx or any super high end rod but the 7m/f zodias is my go to for the 4 and 5" senko and I would say it's plenty sensitive.
  13. Frog rod and punch rod have straight braid, spinners braid to leader. Beyond that I'm mostly running straight fluoro/copoly/mono these days. More Yo Zuri hybrid than anything else, cheap and effective. I run Tatsu on my jerkbait and light BFS rods, 15lb Invizx is my goto fluoro for general use.
  14. Matte color NC shell white, this bait hasn't been heavily used and it's flaking paint from hook rash. MS gunmetal shad, this lure has seen a LOT of action and fish, hook rash barely through the clear coat. This is typical of my LC baits. If I had to guess, certain colors don't have a CC, or use a much thinner/different coat and don't hold up well.
  15. I've noticed this with their matte NC colors. My NC shell white pointer 100 started flaking big chunks of paint after just a tiny bit of hook rash. All my other LC baits are holding up fine.
  16. I haven't tried them but my understanding is just cast and let it fall on an EWG or screwlock hook. I've seen some locals add a punch skirt for a little more action.
  17. Yamatanuki. Yammys poop bait.
  18. JDM Tatula 100 and about $50 left over for line and lunch
  19. I've been very happy with the Sierra 701 but I haven't compared it to any other similar rods. Between that and the Cashion 610ML I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.
  20. Hookup tackle sale stuff, plus some flashy swimmers for free shipping.
  21. Dink day with friends at the bass nursery corner big fish of the day, maybe 1.5lbs. fun fight on BFS New PB crappie again unless it's the same fish that grew a little
  22. The hookup tackle has a bunch of stuff 30% off for Father's day including Shimano poison ultima rods if anyone is looking for something ultra fancy. Unfortunately looks like their gift card sale is over so no double dip unless you bought previously.
  23. I snag em no matter what. I use lead from the bank and tungsten if I'm lucky enough to be on a friends boat where I can recover snags.
  24. I think I have a couple surplus reels but it's pretty close to 1:1
