I could not agree more, my custom from DVT is also built on an MHX blank and has been outstanding the last year and a half with it. About time for another one but buying a house negates that right now.

Honestly, there was no pain at all until the meds used to numb it so they could cut the hook out wore off. But they gave me good meds so it didn't hurt for long.....

Chatterbait to my chin after my partner set the hook and missed. Bait came flying thru the air and hit me. I never knew it was coming. Ended up at the hospital to have it cut out, could not get it to move and was completely buried in my face.

I hate the formality of weddings, was not going to do it. When my wife and I got married we rented a B&B and had everyone stay there. We had the whole place rented to no other guest would be around. Absolutely nothing was formal, had a friend get ordained online to perform the ceremony, shorts/t-shirts, they were doing the wave and heckling us during the ceremony.... It was 3 days of just having fun.

Also make sure you are not setting the hook to hard. The braid has no stretch at all, there is no shock absorbtion. Puts a lot of stress on the leader and knot.

The issue you may run into is the weight of the trailer pushing the rear down which takes weight off the front. With less weight on the drive tires there is less traction.

BareHook, its on public areas they are not doing anything wrong. I am not going to let someone doing a different hobby than mine ruin my day. Only exception is if they start to interfere with me doing my hobby. I have even turned around one time to find a photographer had setup a tripod and was taking pics of me fishing. Caught a nice one, turned and smiled while I held it up. They stayed for a few minutes and left without saying anything. No idea what they were taking pics for, don't care. Now, on private land like Lanier brought up its a whole different ballgame.

Public lakes are just that, public, there is no expectation of privacy. Seen several around the local lake, ignored them and kept fishing. No different then people out with regular cameras taking pictures.

It is 100% personal preference, do what feels right to you. There is no right or wrong way. I am right handed, baitcasters are all right handed, on spinning I hold the rod in my right hand and reel with my left. Tried left handed baitcasters and it felt horrible. We are all different in what feels good, absolutely no need to do things that feel awkward just to fit someone elses "rules".

Can't answer the prop question, but just keep in mind just because they are running motors that have 9.9hp stickers on them it doesn't mean that is actually a 9.9hp motor. A lot of people have no problem with thinking rules are not made for them and will resticker a larger hp motor to look like a 9.9.
