The Pb Poem

I was feeling creative this morning . . . .

                   The PB

We fish so very hard all season long,

Cast after cast from dusk til dawn.

Dredging the bottom, out in the rain,

Our backs ache, we ignore the pain.

Bugs in our eyes, hooks in the hand,

We spends more time on the water

Than we do on the land.

Our lawns need cutting, the dog needs a walk,

We ignore all the chores to flip the next dock.

Other can’t see it, our life long quest,

We are forever searching for a Personal Best.

I can dig it. Thanks for sharing.

I know -

I don't know what got into me -

See what happens when I can't get out on the water . . . . . . .

You've got me in the mood to light some candles, grab a glass of wine, put on some Kenny G, and get in a bubble bath.

I like it!  This part really jumped out at me.  My lawns always overgrown and I think my dog hates me cuz what used to be dog walking days a year and a half ago have now become fishing days.

You never know what you'll find roaming around the old posts here on BR. This made it worth it.
