BR darling egg beater and my favorite finesse line arrived today. I think the rod and reel really complement each other. I gotta admit getting that shim under the bearing was a pain, all worth it tho. This reel is pretty smooth for $100.

It's a big bag, we got my then 4yr old in it with all the boxes out. Cabela's makes some nice bags and I haven't found one to suit my set up. The Magnum is just a bit too big.

I'd say 8/10...not butter smooth but they don't hang up.

Thanks, spooled it up with some 15lb 832 braid and tied on an 8lb leader of AbrazX and plan on doing some dropshotting with it. Never been much of a spinning user, but I'm going to try to get better at it.

Two Chasebaits Mudbugs crawled into the cart (these are new for me), plus a bag of Yum 4-inch Swim'n Dingers in watermelon / pearl 2-tone. Last season these Yums have been my go-to on a ML/F spinning setup on the lake, rigged on a small jig head, and late last season even better as a trailer on a finesse skirted swim jig.

These chase baits look very interesting.  The add has been plastered all over my Facebook.  I am very tempted to try them.  I usually don’t by lures like these.  But, they look almost real

I am still waiting.  I ordered on BF when TW showed a 12/21/19 restock date.

I understand what you’re saying @Tizi, got these from Fisherman’s Warehouse. Pretty sure they were gone within three days of posting on another site. Plan on using ‘em not loosing ‘em in the Delta and Clear Lake (but that’s always the plan, right ?) because March is a ways out...
