Monkey just got me for 2 more of those DDs (and a few other things):  blood and green pumpkin craw.

Ordered on Black Friday, at my front door last night. Are they worth the coin? Hell yeah! Yes, those are @Bluebasser86 custom chatterbaits in the box and they fit nicely.

Look good in the water. Haven't caught anything on them yet, but I think that's more to do with me than them.

Took a quick stop at the field and stream today.. getting some stuff ready for spring !

Let us know how you like it.  I've been trying hard not to hit the order button on this sucker.

It is the quality I would expect from a jacket in the few hundred dollar range. After seeing in person it was definitely a good buy. It is also definitely not a summer-weight shell, I'm guessing I'm getting it out for 50 and below.

Don't get me started on more cowbell, lol.... got at least a dozen of the darn things lying around.

*I recently went down a internet rabbit hole on the quality differences and collection of tambourines (hollow ; no drum skin attached - just dual row symbols on the outside edge) . Amazing how a tambourine player can wear out the hollow type tambourines during a concert tour ; why the tambourines from the 1960's are still most sought after , etc. It was interesting !

Ugh, that makes it even harder. I have 2 goretex shell jackets but nothing heavier for the colder months. Hows the sizing? Would you describe it as "traditional" mens sizing or the new age "large" that fits like a small?

Went to expo in mass today, lots of cool stuff. Grabbed a couple things from a few local companies just getting going.

I quickly learned I was unprepared when I got there. Next year With a disposable  $500.

Dang jerkbait monkey has me this past week. Bought 8 Rapala Shad Raps and 2 Lucky Strike Pointers. It did not stop there though as I bought 5 DT-6's too.....

You should give the Ripstop a go. narrower profile but stops on a dime.

Saved up and got myself a little graduation gift, paired it up with a Shimano Citica 201I

I love 6th sense cranks. Thanks bait monkey, now I have to add another color to my tackle box. ?

I just hit a clearance sell at Field and Stream too. Loaded up on some Arashi Spin baits, some 360 GT search baits, a few Tokyo rigs and a pile of drop shot stuff. They had Strike King Dream Shots and Jackall Crosstail Shad plastics buy 5 get 5. Im a big fan of the dream shot.

Last bait monkey purchase for awhile. I have a bunch of 6th Sense lures, but nothing in ghost colors which I think will work well in the clear waters I fish. Ghost Pro Shad:

Finally decided to upgrade the 859 I've had on the bow the past few years with a Helix 10 so I can use all the network features with the gen2 Helix 9 that's on the console. Can't wait to get it out on the water and have a split screen I can actually see. I also put a graph glass protector on it (thanks for the video instructions @A-Jay!).

Had a gift card and some time to kill at BPS. The 6th Sense baits came in the mail today. Really excited about the suspending lipless. Got big plans for that one that I hope work out.

I'll be following your results closely with that one.

The thought of a rattlebait being fished like a jerkbait, has me losing sleep at night !

I have some old suspending Rattle Traps, that cast like potato chips and don't want to get down in the water, especially if it was windy it would just drag and skip across the surface on it's side. Those baits were supposedly 1/2oz, but I'd be surprised if they were anywhere near that. The times I could get them to hit nose down so they'd head down in the water and suspend, fish would knock the fire out of them just pulling them and stopping over submerged grass and rocky banks.

This one feels light for a 7/8oz bait, but much heavier than the old baits I have. I have high hopes that I'll be able to do the same slow, stop and go, or pull and stop retrieves I did with the other baits. Just a completely different sound and profile than what they're use to seeing moving along slowly and hanging in their face. They've been completely ignoring my other lipless baits the last couple months during what is normally prime trapping season, so it's time to mix it up!

That Vision 110 is junk, send it to me and I'll TRY and get your money back. :laugh5:

Can't wait to try those bigger TRDs.

You've got to give them a few seconds to right themselves after they hit the water when they land on their side. You can't start retrieving right away. I don't have much patience for that.

That Quake 80 is beautiful, and with the larger size/weight, I'd be real surprised if it has that problem. Please let us know how it works out.
